No point at his age with only 1 year left on his deal. I think we'll sell him with a big sell on clause to a Championship team.

wrong thread but WHY THE **** did we keep darnell johnson, daley campbell, sam hughes, josh knIght etc and get rid of Calvin Bassey. He is a ****ing athlete and could just be about to lead Rangers back line to a Europa League win......well played directors of football!

You can't force people to sign a contract, he wanted to leave.

He has had a great game tonight. Really impressive. Strong, good in the tackle and the air. Good temperament and rapid. Hindsight. Can we buy him back?

On Calvin Bassey, he was behind a lot of players. Whilst we have held on to a lot of dross in the past, I don't think letting him go was a bad thing - he wants to leave for opportunities, and realistically, until our injury crisis this season, he wouldn't have got any.

His success is still our success. It reflects well on our academy. I'm happy for the lad and maybe one day we'll sign him back

Disappointed about McAteer and Wakeling's lack of game time. I had hoped Wakeling would kick on a bit, but apparently not. McAteer's lack of game time is more understandable given FGR's promotion charge. That will at least have been a great experience for him.

On a more positive note, Iversen continues to show he is a solid keeper, Hirst has found his level from which he can build, and Wright keeps stepping up.

I would love to see all three break through into the first team, but I hazard a guess Iversen will be seen as a sellable asset, as with Hirst. Wright maybe harbours a greater chance of coming through, given our lack of depth in midfield at the moment for the first team. Would be good to see him in pre-season at least, although his recent mentions of having no contact since earlier this year don't sound promising.

Vontae Daley-Campbell (6.1 - 14 mins) - Dundee 1-2 Livingston

Not for the first time, they are winning, bring VDC on and lose ……

be nuts if we don’t find him a league 2 loan next season or even tear up his contract.   He shouldn’t be anywhere near the development squad as he’s taking up a valuable space

....he looks better going forward, not sure if he has not committed to the move, but has not done his cause any good!!!
