On a more positive note, Iversen continues to show he is a solid keeper, Hirst has found his level from which he can build, and Wright keeps stepping up.

 

I would love to see all three break through into the first team, but I hazard a guess Iversen will be seen as a sellable asset, as with Hirst. Wright maybe harbours a greater chance of coming through, given our lack of depth in midfield at the moment for the first team. Would be good to see him in pre-season at least, although his recent mentions of having no contact since earlier this year don't sound promising.

Something had to be going on with Wakeling: No word of an injury, but wasn't even on the bench when there was space on the bench.

 

McAteer I just think was a club looking for makeweight during the second half of the season.
