Fofana Injury

Ligament damage means a complete write-off for this season.

So bloody unnecessary. He's lost a year in his football career because of a disgusting action from another player.

Supporting Leicester sure is an up and down roller coaster ride!

Not much a surprise after seeing his foot twisted all the way round like that. hopefully will be recovered and back in full training at the start of next pre season. Just listened to Radio Leicester and Rodgers said he wanted to stay here for his recovery to be with the lads rather than going back home.

That’s great he wants to stay around and it will help bouba settle in

So he'll be back for the Europa League knockout stage?

6 months almost feels like a bonus after I initially thought it was going to be around a year.

He’ll be re assessed over the next few months but there is no timescale on his return other than it will be next year.  No one can say for sure but ‘substantial ligament damage’ doesn’t sound good.

I think if he plays at all again this season it will be a bonus for him.

......I really wish we did not have to have updates from Rodgers....!!!

"Unfortunately the ligament damage is quite bad."

You just know it is going to be 2023 before he recovers now. Ligament damage and an operation to come, you never know if when they get inside it is nowhere as bad and he mends easily.

Clutching at straws and everything crossed.
