How can one player bring so much change to a team ? Shows he put all his eggs in one player.  Like a house of cards , it’s coming down .  That progressive trajectory is going down .  We might have a few wins here and there to paper over cracks, that’s it from Brendan .  Time for a change , someone with intelligence and heart over this card board clown .

You seem to have gone very quiet re the cardboard clown.😂

Haha yep, this is a point i've been keen to make.

People making out that the players we're currently playing are poor/average prem players and the boys coming in are all world class and going to make a huge difference to the football we're playing. They're going to be in for quite a shock.

The difference between them isn't as huge as a lot of people are making out, also the lads are gonna need at least a few weeks/months to get up to speed again.

Agree...Barnes,Ricardo,Maddison 3 Great examples thereof..

Now into October...return of Fofana & Justin, they might return anytime during December ready for a slow introduction & their First serious game,

But their return to that consistent high Performance form, will be in the Lap of the Football gods...

Next season will be their real restart...The fans just need to show more patience & understanding than some knobnuts have shown over the years.

Ricardo.. has just shown in these last few weeks, hes found his old self..

Maddison, yesterday his first steps of finding that high quality form we know he has...

Barnes...Could well need a couple of months, before we see regularly tnose high Flying moments...

Fofana, returning in December. Surely that's not possible. Is it?!

I Dont mean for any inevitable start, and Yes I am being over-zealous but still wary only because the positive noises coming out over his recovery...

Trying to be hard & pragmatic, I really dont want to see him before Febuary, even if there is hope of any earlist recovery,it will be still a slow Build up,

Hence why I wrote...'Next season will be their Real restart '

Ironic to see someone post like that and then question someone else's intelligence. 😂

Needs to get fit as the Camelpies have made contact with his representatives over a January move. The Daily Fail never wrong.

Is that after we’ve got him back up to full fitness with possibly 2.5 years left on his contract. Could well end up being the first 100 million quid defender

If Fofana is going to be back ahead of schedule and Justin back soon its a huge bonus for us and will improve our options once they are both fit. Could take a while with them both though like it has with Ricardo. Full credit to both Justin and Fofana as they've clearly both been working extremely hard to get back. The medical staff can do their bit but most of the recovery is down to the hard work and determination of the players. They are both very young so I fully expect them to get back to the levels they were playing at before their injuries.

Gonna take a while to get used to Justin and Fofana back in our defence again.

We have numerous quality defenders in Justin, Soyuncu, Fofana, Evans, Ricardo and Castagne. We should really be top 5 best defence in the league, not this shower we are seeing now.

Looks a reliable source, given they quote a knee injury for his current absence

It is half the reason and it’s the reason he’ll be out for so long. When he broke his leg, it was said that the it will be longer than a broken leg would normally be because he’d damaged his medial knee ligament. Brendan even said it in a press conference

The quote was "medial ligament". Somehow the media has taken that to mean medial knee ligament, instead of medial ankle ligament, which is what he's actually got.
