Playing 3-5-2 will see him get a lot more game time imo. With just Vardy up to on his own, you naturally look at iheanacho to come on and a) replace Vardy or b) join vardy upfront. This way Daka comes on to replace one them or if it's going really tits up, join them. Happy for him and hopefully he pushes on from here.

I love goals like this, it was actually exactly the sort of goal he needed. The more desperate he was getting for a goal, the more we saw him panicking when the ball came to him in Warsaw the other week. But today after 2 decent efforts saved by De Gea, he could easily of nutmegged himself when the ball came in to his legs but he managed to get it down and in. Superb.

 

Lovely character, got such a great persona and oozes suave. Celebration is class too. I'm no massive fan of 3-4-1-2 but whilst Barnes is out of sorts this system will get minutes for Iheanacho and Patson and they are devastating finishers along with Vardy.

Nice to be able to sub off Kelechi - who was having a great game - and have Daka make a huge impact in 20 minutes.  Three shots on target, a goal and could easily have had another, a shot that set up the go-ahead goal.  Terrific all-around.  Even when we go with one striker we should be subbing in a new one for fresh legs at 70-75 minutes, which is what most of the top teams do most of the time.  We clearly have the depth to do it.
