If Daka doesn't start Sunday, he's not been 'dropped'. There is almost certainly a plan in place to integrate him and protect Vardy. 

 

Nobody will be more delighted about his goals than Vardy - it simultaneously takes a lot of pressure off him to perform and yet it motivates him to keep scoring. 

 

There are worse problems.

Rodgers played Vardy and Daka together v Man United and we scored 3 goals in that short period.

Honestly thought we’d hit the lifetime lottery with Vardy but Daka genuinely looks like the natural successor. Electric.

Most impressive thing was he never looked like missing any of them. Once we stopped playing tippy tappy and went for the fast killer pass, we were unstoppable, pretty much what Foxestalk has been calling for.

I see your point of view, but I think Vardy and Daka are very different type players. Vardy closes down, harries defenders and drags defenders all over the place. The first man in our defensive press.
 

Daka is clearly an out and our goal scorer, not sure he does the dirty work at the moment, but I’m sure he will with experience.
