Has the happy knack of being in the right place at the right time.

Loves a tap in.

Going to be a big paper for us.

Hopefully not the sun

Daka is absolutely nothing but an out-and-out goalscorer, which for a me is a huge positive.

Sure, he could work on a lot of things including his running off the ball, first touch, hold up play etc but the fact he can score even when he's having a shocker bodes really well for when Vardy eventually decides to hang up his boots.

Slightly concerned how he looked completely uninterested tonight, even after scoring.

He's gone from the happiest man I've ever seen to looking a bit withdrawn.

Have we coached the directness and excitement out of him already?

Looked pretty happy to me.

Nowhere near the finished article. Quite poor off the ball I think and physically not strong enough yet. Can go missing in games. Still lots of promise though.

His off the ball is a long way off vardys, but how often does vardy go missing in games, I think it’s more to do with this system than the striker but that’s just how I see it!

Lots of faint praise in this thread, some people have no foresight.  Can't see past the rough edges.  Daka is gonna be a very special player.

We are so spoiled to have Vardy, Nacho and Daka.  A goal machine forward is the most sought after player in football and we've got three of em.

Daka is a lethal finisher. Last night's goal was a great example, he had next to no time to react to it and still managed to turn it into the net.

I'd like to see him playing on the shoulder of the final defender and us trying to spring the offside trap more - our winner at Brentford and our second goal at Liverpool came from his direct runs and it was lightening from our midfield into the back of the net. With Barnes and Lookman also capable of the same runs, and Tielemans, Maddison and Iheanacho more than well equipped to play the necessary through balls it could be be a fruitful route to more goals for us.

How the fvck did he look uninterested? He looked a little low on confidence but uninterested is a hell of a claim.

to be fair it was badly worded.

He looked nothing like the lad that started with us. He looked withdrawn or not as energised IMO.

We are far too slow and laboured with and without the ball currently. What we keep seeing is Daka coming back into midfield and trying to get involved. This has always been noticeable for me when we have a drop in form. Even when playing with Vardy. The difference being, Vardy (and Iheanacho) are better than Daka with their backs to goal. Daka will improve over time I am sure.

What we need to start doing is what we did at times against West Ham second half and that's moving the ball quicker and switching the play more often, rather than side to side passing at the back.

He didn't go wild after his goal last night as he knew it was borderline offside and was waiting for the VAR review.

He's not looked quite as sharp since he came back from his hamstring injury, as there's been a few occasions where he's could've got in behind in recent games but just could quite get onto the end of the through ball.  His acceleration and top end speed will come back, as we've seen with Vardy he's often looked rusty for a few games when coming back from injury, as with games coming think and fast they won't be doing as much acceleration/sprint training.
