Not sure how we could draw your conclusions (that’s what they were, not facts) on his limited performances thus far.

Dude i dont give a crap what you do, its not about you and no need to mention yourself

I do care about Daka performance and i have all the right to criticise it even tho its his first season

Saying he was shite  today does not mean  i think he is shite overall and will be shite in all his football carrier

You guys who always attack someone on the fricking football forum like this i just quoted

Yeh but putting two specialist strikers up front when are playing mainly teams who play 1 up front and an extra midfielder means we get overran in midfield and allows their two centre backs to man mark a striker each. The modern top level striker has to be able to play on his own at times. The worry is Daka can’t do it.

4-1-2-1-2 would give us an extra midfielder over the opposition. Also 2 strikers lining up against two centrebacks is a bad matchup for the centrebacks, not the other way around, it's not our attack that would be under threat but our defence down the wings in this scenario.

I will believe it when I see it.

His touch and strength needs serious improvement.

Can only assume he's had his main strength coached out of him. When he first started playing for us, he was constantly on the shoulder of the defence looking a pass over the top/through the line. He was damn good at timing his runs as well.

Barely see him showing for a through ball nowadays. Another case of Rodgers taking a player and nullifying their qualities.

I was saying all game, we didn't see any quality balls into space for him to run at. Even when he pulled onto the wing to get a touch, it was into his feet instead of behind the full back. Why have a player so clearly rapid and nullify his best trait? Like Vardy, he's not a player to hold the ball up, he should be running into space. Not as deft as Vardy is at finding those gaps yet, but I hope that will come with game time.

That is because he doesn’t make the runs into space… he is a passive figure unfortunately.. doesn’t run the channels ..

And scoring 20 in a season is extremely rare, only Vardy has done that for us in the Premier League era - he’d have to be our first choice striker and start every game to have a realistic chance of doing that.

Thing is, I dont want a Daka, I want another Vardy but realistically,  even if god reacted quickly, the virgin birth is still a 6 year old naughty boy running around Braunstone.

Till he is ready, maybe we should play Daka to his strengths

I know there's not many as good as Vardy, but when watching Daka play in JVs place you watch and see his reaction time is miles off where you'd expect. When JV is on the run comes then the ball, or sometimes they happen simultaneously, with Daka the ball goes, he looks then he runs.

Hopefully it will come and he will come good. At the minute he's miles off, just have to see how it goes.

.. he is a player who gets on the end of things, he is not creative or expect to be part of the build up!!!

We need to look to release him sooner, our passing game is contradictory to how he plays and therefore he is static as he is waiting for the moment to make a run into the box. It is going to be a rewrite of his game and unless Rodgers seeks to change the way we play, we have picked up the wrong  player.

...isn't that the Southampton setup!!!

If the league is pretty much done, then I'd try and start him as much as possible and give him some opportunities to play different ways. We all (myself included) wrote off Iheanacho and his first season was worse than Daka's.

Give him time and opportunities. If he takes them, good. If he doesn't, then we we have the difficult choice. He does seem to work well in a 2.

My prediction is Daka will come good next season. He will have had one season in the prem to get used to it, all he will need is a good pre season to score a few goals is confidence will be sky high then he will have great season. It's all about conference & belief. So come on all Foxes fans, back the Lad.
