Daka was playing football in a tier 1 League, and his English is not a problem or something that would hold him back.

In hindsight the criticism of Daka was a little harsh. Our strikers are being given no service, we can’t expect them to excel if the players behind them aren’t creating chances. The lack of creativity is a big worry.

Not looking good for him if he couldn't get on tonight. Cannot see how he is going to be good enough to start next season and with Vardy on his last legs we are going to struggle next season.

End of the day whoever takes over from Vardy is more than likely going to receive unneccessary stick because most fans will expect him to pick up from peak Vardy. Chances are that's not going to happen. It's like the growing list of Man Utd managers since Ferguson left

Watching the lack of impact that Vardy had tonight makes you realise that Daka's struggles are in large part down to the system and tactics. We could have peak Ronaldo in this current team and he wouldn't get a sniff. We need to drop 433 and switch back to 4231, with a 10 behind the striker.

This lad just needs game time to improve to get used to the football so why hasn’t BR played him at times with the U23’s, he can’t get match fit by getting 10 min here  a half here he needs to play regular he was bought in to replace vardy who’s not at his best the lad will be amazing if managed the right way !

Thought he was one of the only players to actually do alright for us today

 

Before his goal he made a great run, got his shot past Pickford and got unlucky there was a covering defender

 

Took his goal well

 

Laid on a good chance with a header for Vardy I think it was (?)

Literally every time he plays in a front 2 he nearly scores or scores  and every time he doesn't he will have a shot every 3 or 4 games. Fair few assists from him too in a front 2. Abysmal management of him.

Definitely one to have as a focal point for the kind of attacks we make. Must play more so we can get the best out of him. 

 

I'd start him on Wednesday. Result was shit today but he'll have confidence for scoring.

I think today showed what the season should have looked like if Vardy hadn’t have been injured for so long . In that I mean Patson coming on to replace Vardy most games to ease him in to the Premiership instead of just chucking him in at the deep end .
