Our Internationals 2021/22

I hate to say it but Scotland scored from a corner, Kasper stayed on his line as he has done most of the night (Scotland scored from their 8th corner of the game), and Vestergaard didn't mark the scorer.

Denmark have looked really susceptible at defensive corners, for some reason...

He made a great save earlier with his left foot.

Kasper and Vestergaard both starting for Denmark vs Scotland - being shown on Sky Sports Football

Evans starting for Northern Ireland vs Italy - being shown on Sky Sports Premier League

I do not think you should be available for internationals if you haven't been available for your last 5 club games

It was a worldie.  After he got booked for dissent.

Let me get this straight, tonight Kasper has been a world class shot stopper, dodgy at corners and mardy with officials.

I AM SHOCKED.  :P

Do you mean Evans? He has been available for the last 7 (rested against Brighton, was still technically available)

Vestergaard only missed the Spartak game because of illness, has been available for the other 10+ games

Not long hired him, then he got covid but aye, there is a big differance in our set plays recently and we've clearly targeted Kasper. The fans too... He's gonna end up killing someone, he's not a happy chappy.

Wouldn't want a keeper coming out for that corner, really high and floated towards the back of the 6 yard box into a big group of players where most keepers would struggle to get out to it

But shocking from Vestergaard just let Souttar out into space on his own

I agree.

But the fact that he *hardly ever* comes out for corners when they are gettable, allows opponents to plan and execute their corners.

Denmark looked rattled at most defensive corners this evening.

Leicester have looked dodgy at most defensive corners for a while now.

It's not necessarily 100% Kasper's fault as the defenders have to do their bit, but the fact that Kasper generally stays home most of the time doesn't help.

I say this as a massive admirer of most other aspects of Kasper's game.

Maddison just look at Gallagher and Smith-Rowe playing tonight and wonder how he's ballsed it up internationally.

He definitely should have had more caps but that crap with the casino and covid rule breaking will have marked his card for the future.

Two players who worked hard to improve their own game and put everything into each match vs a lackadaisical spice boy, I know who I'd pick.

I'm not disagreeing.

I'd be fuming at myself. I'm not certain Maddison will be feeling that way, myself.

Genuine question, if he wasn’t on loan from Chelsea, and was a permanent Crystal Palace player, do you think he would be getting into England squad?

Yes

he was o/standing at the hawthorns last season

tbh, he was primarily promoted into the main squad because he was already in a St. George’s park bubble with the U21’s and the game is against San Marino
