I know these are a sunday league side but that Madueke impresses me everytime ive seen him play.

Madueke played very well and interestingly played on the left and combined well with Thomas. Thomas often drifting inside for triangle. He does look the business.

You'd honestly think based on this match that Thomas and Madueke played together every day in training instead of Thomas and Barnes.

 

Madueke looks like such a Leicester player. He'd absolutely thrive under Rodgers. Imagine him playing with Justin, Ricardo, Castagne behind him. I didn't even realise he could play on the left hand side too, and TBH with Lookman and Barnes we have that position covered, but his interplay with Luke Thomas was delightful to watch!

England were able to advance both full backs last night 

 

we generally only advance on the right - note how often JJ ended up well inside or close to Brentford’s area last Sunday in open play.  if we ever manage to get back to the way we want to play then you should expect both our full backs to be all over the place.
