Judging by the 92 we’re the same age and he was the reason we stopped having  season ticket so dull and boring

Yeah pretty much it quite literally bored you to death up until that point supporting Leicester had never been boring to me kind of killed my love for football as well for a while.

Statistically, McLintock is our worse ever manager. over 40 games he had a win ratio of only 12.5%. Taylor actually had a decent 35.19%, not far behind MON at 38.29% The difference being that under the latter we had a poor start and steadily improved winning promotion and trophies on the way having built a decent squad. Taylor was the complete opposite however.

For comparison, the best ever manager in our entire history statistically is none other than a certain B Rodgers who has a win ratio of 53.04 followed my Nigel Pearson at 51.40 during his first spell (div 1 season).

Yep, we had 6 brilliant years under Jimmy, Mclintock put us back 20 years.  Frankie Wortho was a League title runner up with Southampton in the 80s & of course “THE Bolton goal”.

The club went yo-yo with good players at times, 80-81, 84-86, 94 but not top half again till Martin.

We went down so fast that year it made your head spin!! Scary😫

Holloway took us down to the third tier for the first time in our history. Pleat bought in Ricky Hill before managing to get arrested for curb crawling in Highfields. Taylor decimated our side and is remembered for Junior Lewis - but it's very hard to forget or look beyond the double disaster-**** that was Lammie Robertson and Roger Davies. Davies was our record signing at the time ffs.

No idea why Hamilton hasn't made this list?

Glad people have chose Peter Taylor by a landslide!

Over the years so many people have said "Ian Holloway's our worst manager ever!".

No, he took us to our lowest level but he's no where near the level of Peter Taylor, Holloway was by no means good and he can be involved in the worst ever manager discussion but the damage had already been done for Holloway, he was always fighting a losing battle.

Peter Taylor was the cause of the slide and downward spiral. Cunt.

I guess most are too young to remember how bad Mclintock was. In charge for a season (77-78) in which we finished bottom, winning only 5 league games, and going out in FA Cup to Walsall. 26 goals in league all season. Another season when we bought a dud striker for city; Roger Davies who cost £250.000 ( a very large fee) was perhaps the first signing of the run that continues today of spending big money on strikers who rarely score for City.

Has to McClintock. Thanks for the stats. My heart said that and now my head does. If he had not been sacked, there's a good chance that we'd now be a non league team.
