I'm happy with this. 

 

At worst he will be a good back up to Barnes. 

 

At best, he carries his impressive form for Fulham over to the right-wing and makes that position his. 

 

...Either way, we are stronger now than we were this morning.

I have asked Tanner, awaiting response, his article in Athletic says “with a view to a permanent move” so presumably he has some info 

 

The loan fee quoted for him going to palace a few weeks ago was £3.5m. If that’s accurate (and it’s weird to make that up) I would guess we recoiled at that... and rightly so!

I think he will be good back up and competition for Barnes which is a good thing, so I'm not unhappy,  and i think hes a decent player.  I just wish we had brought in a right winger, but maybe the Fofana injury, meaning we needed to spend money on Vestagard, put any potential right wing target out of out price range.
