A long season ahead…..

Recommended Posts

You could call it reactionary.

If we continue to persist with how we’re playing, we’re going to be in trouble.

Leaky like a sieve at the back and fairly toothless going forwards.

It sort of reminds me of the 16/17 season and the major come down we had.

Youri, Soyuncu and Maddison has largely been awful. Vardy looks spent.

Brendan needs to find another way of winning.

Oh how I miss the counter attacking football we had under Claudio lol this possession football I can’t stand sideways backwards sideways backwards no forward thinking it seems. It’s going to be a long long season

It’s all gone a bit PuelBall at times!

Not getting relegated. I predicted us to finish about 8th, and I don't think we are looking to do much worse, just yet. For me, I want a good run in the cups.

I do t think we’ll be relegated. I just think it’ll be a grind and watching us will be a bit painful at times.

Vardy has scored 3 in 5; don’t disagree with the rest

Ahh that counter attacking football was shambolic in 16/17. It’s all about evolving but don’t think Claudio’s tactics didn’t have a shelf life

Didn’t think we’d hit the heights of the last couple of seasons this year but didn’t expect too much of a drop off. The second half today gives me hope that we can play ourselves into some good performances if we get the right players on the pitch and play a bit higher up. Still think fitness is a big issue, the sharpness just isn’t there. We just need to get ourselves going, preferably sooner rather than later.

We’d have got away with it today had it not been for that terrible penalty decision.

I do feel we may have a tricky season ahead. But Vardy spent? 3 goals in 5 is not too shabby.

My feeling is we have a tough few weeks ahead but we will stumble across our best XI and start to pick up some decent results.
