On hindsight thursday refereeing was bad but had been overplayed. Today was one of the worst for many many years to the point where I considered it to be actual corruption.

Second half just shows that the decent team is still in there if we stop handicapping ourselves with the way we set up and the personnel selected to start.
 

We were poor first half but we’ve been royally stitched up by the officials there. The ref summed himself up booking a player for time wasting and then not adding the time on for it.
 

Now we also have the put up with the media wanking themselves off about Brighton cos they’ve won some games. They’re still shit lads.

Crap for 60 minutes, but not only did we not deserve to lose, we deserved to win.

 

Ademola Lookman made all the difference and needs to start. The jury's out on the 433... Soumare was average and Tielemans awful first half, though they did turn it round second half.

 

That defeat was very hard to take, we were completely robbed.

Guess what? If you didn't start Maddison and allowed us to play the free-flowing attacking football that we only started playing at 2-0 down from the start, then we would stand a much, much better chance of getting that result.

Lookerman changed the game. Did more in 5 minutes than Madders has in months. Absolutely robbed of any points by incompetent VAR officials and awful reffing. However being utterly shit for 1 hour does not help the cause.

I mean Brighton had to have some divine intervention after we still best them twice in 2021 when playing some of the most disgusting football I've ever seen in both matches. Every team is allowed a VAR cash in game where at all costs they will guarantee a win and today is the day.

 

Rodgers needs to swallow his pride otherwise he is going to cause a malaise that might not be easy to overturn. Huge few weeks for him now. Dog shit start to the season.

Match fixed. Clearer than ever that VAR is all about protecting the rich 6.

 

We had to play abysmally for a long time to allow that to be possible though.

 

Silver lining; Brendan made some timely changes that actually worked.

Shame it took us to go 2 goals down to start playing. VAR may not have lost us the game but it definitely prevented us from winning, unfairly so too. At least two of the decisions for sure. Penalty should have been a foul to us. And one of the disallowed goals is never an offside. 

 

Positive being the way we came back in to the game and showed that belief and mentality to do so. The goal itself was lovely. Lookman really made a difference and his impact deserves credit for the way the game changed in our favour.

People jumping on VAR and the referee. Yes they were awful decisions, but why was Barnes constantly in an offside position in the first place? 

 

And what about the team selections? Is BR not seeing what we are seeing? Why did he start Maddison given his terrible performances and statistics.

 

Why are we always so awful in the first half and then be all over them when it's too damn late? Why are we so awful at defending?

This is becoming typical Leicester and it's really starting to get my back up, because we decide to show how good we really are. When it's too late.

Haven’t seen it but a very disappointing result. Have to wonder when we are going to put a consistent 90mins together. Surely those out of form have to be benched for a bit now and give those champing at the bit to make an impact from the start. Lookman and Nacho deserve some to start at the moment. Some glimpses from the sounds of things. Can’t give teams a two goal head start

I’ve never seen a game quite like that… Genuinely suspicious refereeing, Attwell should be investigated, betting patterns checked etc.
