Leicester 2-Burnley 2 post match thread.

JV, villain to hero - MoTM.

Sloppy at the back, Wilf had some slack passes, as did Tilly. Soumare looked good. Lookman had a really good game. Timmy some good crosses and generally ok, is RiccyP injured?

Nacho needs to start midweek with Daka and see how they get on again.

Barnes is a bit of an enigma atm, lots of intent but passes somestimes off and should be shooting more, had a good start and then faded.

Back in my day it was "let the ball do the work", but we seem to be intent on almost walking the ball to within a few yards of each other, especially when building from the back.

Feels like a frustrating season incoming.

Nothing wrong with the intent and attacking endeavour, just lacking the final ball or two. Too many not at their level and we lack crispness as a result. Good reaction in that sense, just need to build some quality.

The less said defensively the better. It’s a car crash, midfield isn’t doing enough, centre halves look exposed and a shambles

A few things today that I didn’t like. Kel not starting but ok, you don’t want to be too short in defence.

Lookman coming off which was just a weird decision.

and Vestegaard. That bit at the end. He is a defensive answer to Zeljko Kalac. All this height but he isn’t even dominant in the air. I don’t see it. He looks very very poor.

However, I thought our defensive display over shadowed a decent attacking display. You’re not going to overpower Burnley. We created well and both chances were taken very well by the master.

Disappointed with the last two results.

It's amazing how turgid we are at the moment.  Slow, ponderous, wasteful in the final third.  Vardy knows how to finish, Lookman was again a bright spot, and Kelechi continues to produce whenever he gets a rare chance.  But collectively?  Disjointed and by appearances, disinterested.

We have the players, we really do. So where does the problem stem from. There is something fundamentally wrong this season. We are so easy to play against. Possession without intent is nothing. Every time we’ve won anything we’ve had less possession - in terms of trophies.  Someone needs to give their head a wobble.

Thank fuch for Vardy.
