News about the stadium expansion would be good

Can’t see much happening for a few years we got to be settled in the premiership first which will take a lot of doing

We will never be more settled than we were. Relegation always a possibility for most clubs.

Falling behind a lot of clubs now.

How much more stable did we need to be than nine consecutive seasons, a title win, two fifth place finishes and hundreds of millions spent on players? It might not get better than that, based on current trajectory.

It will never get better than that. We will never even equal that. Psr ffp makes sure that never happens again for us or any club of the same standing.

Newcastle with the billions they have can't even join that top 6 club list.

It's fvcking rigged and we have to live with it.

Just be glad and happy and thankful you was alive when it happened.

It probably says more about the ownership’s long term ambitions than anything else.  My take is that if king power were committed long term then this would be happening.  the investment is not psr related as most of the ‘psr costs’ have already been incurred. To expand will require either the ownership stumping up the dosh or extensive borrowings.

the alternative view is that this won’t get going again unless we show we’re PL established. It’s a straightforward commercial decision based on that.

Something else on that document, the two highest bidders for short sponsorship were betting companies, why wasnt king power able to match their offers.

This is bang on tbh. Unless you're one of the mega clubs (and Everton, seemingly ) you're never more than one bad season from getting relegated.

I will call it now, if they saying EPL stability is a requirement, then they not doing it.

because king power can also now sponsor something else. The shirt sponsor isn’t king power (honestly)

We were very settled but no planning permission. Now unsettled but with planning. The club have to change there thinking and get on with it

It makes sense to hold off now let inflation stabilize see if we can stabilize in the Premier. The one factor none of us know is how confident would we be to fill another 8000 or so seats. Is there really another 4000 odd people who will commit to a season ticket. We all like to think so but I am not so sure is it worth the risk. King Power just spent a lot on property in Thailand which needs a return. I run the numbers and to be honest over a 20 year period I cannot see the return on investment without the additional as yet not detailed or approved hotel, apartments etc. That is most likely the scenario that the calculators say no. Even with the extras is a City like Leicester going to generate the high end income required. We are in the Premier and not all hospitality for the season is sold out.

I'm sceptical whether expansion makes economic sense. Ticket sales are a small of the clubs income now. A 25% increase in capacity and therefore a 25% increase in ticket revenue isn't going to be a game changer even if we sell out every week. A lot of the extra income would have service the debt anyway.

The way things are going, I can see every game televised in this country in a few years, which is bound to affect the gate. We could end up with a white elephant.

Cost of borrowing is far too high at present, import costs have increased due to the stuff with Israel and shipping avoiding the Suez canal. As well as steel costs increasing due to the war in Ukraine. As much as we're all gagging for a stadium expansion, doing it now would cripple us. I think next year will see a development and an acceleration in plans. So many external factors at play currently make it unfeasible

That's what people said last time and after 9 seasons in the Prem we still hadn't extended

it's all excuses now

not good enough

to compete and be competitive we need to expand

The club hate general sale as they can't keep tabs on who is in the stadium. That won't ever change under this ownership so until they go, the resistance towards general sale will remain.

It’s an absolute disgrace
