Wish we'd be a bit more ambitious with the number of seats, I still think there'll be people dissapointed not to be able to get a ST

I feel the same way, but also see the club's point of view: It is a 25 percent increase in capacity, after all. At the same time, they must have plans in the drawer for doing the other stands when the time comes, hopefully sooner than later.

Have ticket sales been very slow? I just had a quick look, about 100 left for Brentford, most in KW lounge. Approx 1000 for S'ton and Man U is sold out.

Not sluggish at all.

We need more seats. It’s hard for a lot of people to get seats together.

According to the stadium tour guy, there are 9000 on the waiting list for a season ticket

Is there a waiting list? There's a ballot that members can enter each summer.

There isn't a specific waiting list, members enter a ballot each year. Perhaps that's the amount of enquiries/applications they receive each time. Given that members with 37/38 were successful this year, I'm sceptical we get 9000 applications for ST a year.

It was last week he said it, but you're saying what I was thinking when he said it to be honest.

Pretty sure our ground was the most full in the Premier league last season. Something like 99% of the stadiums capacity average.

It was.

Looks like Forest new stand has been given the green light. What the fvck are the council playing at

When will Forest start building? Does theirs come with all the other stuff that we'e adding in/around the area?

And presumably Forest may have more hoops to jump through? Doubt anything happens this season for them or us, but would be good if we can get going or know a date that the works will start.

Their council played silly buggers just as long. Bear in mind in their plans were unveiled in 2019?

We've new about ours for how long? Also when did their application go in?

Their application went in in January 2019, apparently it was drawn out due to usual suspects for any football planning application and issues with the boat houses.

We’ve known about ours for a long time but formally the application isn’t even a year old. Hopefully it’s just a case of bureaucracy. After all of the success I’d be surprised if Soulsby and Co really want to be the bad guy that hinders the football clubs most successful period.

Can't help but tie the lack of money spent on the team and delays on the proposed redevelopment together to paint a concerning picture.....:(

Hope not though.:)

...it is not tied to a lack of money, we were always budgeting for certain spending each year, and that would have come down to infrastructure spending in this era!!!

We spent £60m last summer, and no sales were made to generate funds to accomplish this, we would have been expecting to offload a few players this summer window, but it hasn't happened and FFP has had an impact regarding wages to revenue.

It is very much a catch-22, next season will resolve a lot of this impasse.

Something doesn't feel right, hey.

Speaking to someone in the club in late may, their opinion was that the build was going back a year

I don’t believe they knew anything specific though

it could be that the thoughts are that commencing a build in the midst of a commodity price hike bubble isn’t overly clever. Given that the council may have dragged their feet a little at the beginning, was there any point in spending additional sums to bring it back to planned timings and have to spend extra to secure raw materials and high energy etc etc

2024 may see things more settled and lower costs

D Day…wasn’t today the latest in a series of target deadlines that the planners were supposed to meet on the stadium development?

Planning Authorities are an utter shambles! They’re all still blaming covid for a backlog of work. Bureaucracy for bureaucracy sake. Get a move on!!! I have no doubt the delays are all local authority led, rather than the club having second thoughts. King Power realise that LCFC are at a bottleneck in the club’s growth and it is essential that the club need to increase revenue streams going forward in order to organically grow.

Anyone know if the target deadline has been extended yet again?

It’s still showing as today on the planning portal, maybe we’ll get APPROVAL in the next half hour before CLOSE OF PLAY! (Or maybe not).

The club need to come out and tell us what’s going on, they always  seem to keep us in the dark regardless of what it is.

Is there no one in our fanbase that  is in a position to challenge the club for some answers as to what’s going on.
