You must be a laugh on a night out.

A game of two halves. No one could’ve really complained if either side had have won. But we had the better chance to win it at the end through Vardy. Sloppy defending has yet again cost us. Great response in the second half.

When did I say any of the above?
Not disagreeing with you on any of that. Just don’t think Kdh atm is what majority think he is. I agree he has potential to improve but atm he’s not there yet. Happy to be proven wrong in the future.

If YT is fit for Villa, I’d put kdh in and leave Ndidi out.

No way. I think Tielemans helps Ndidi play better and smarter.

Take that really, we were ok second half, finally starting to create again.  Some players coming back to form, Barnes, Evans looking better, Maddison getting back to where he was hopefully not injured. Once we add youri again hopefully starting to not look completely abysmal and build on it. KDH looks way ahead of soumare for me but with youri fit not sure what to do. Nacho unlucky. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Barnes and Evans looking better 😂

It was quite obvious that he changed the game for us.

Strong evidence of xG being bollocks here.

Hahahahaaaa we've missed x 2 one on ones and scored a rebound with just the keeper to beat, which must have been classed as less of a chance because it was a centre half hitting it? Bizarre. Our xG should have been north of 2.10

Should have won that easily but 1st half performance left us with too much to do.

KDH changed the game for us. He needs to be starting ahead of Soumare, added real energy to the midfield which was lacking in the first half.

Maddison outstanding, back to his best.

Credit to Rodgers for recognising the issues and at half time and addressing them.

Sadly conceding 2 goals again really has cost us two additional points tonight. Absolutely criminal that we're so poor defending at the moment.

Who’s our defence coach? Brendan we have a problem get someone in, it’s a sign of madness to do the same thing with the same staff and expect a different result.?

The weirdest season. Feels like it's been pretty disastrous, yet we are in touching distance of European places, we can still qualify top of our group for the Europa and we are in the quarters of the league cup.

Really pleased for KDH, but not surprised. He's our best alternative to Youri in that role, so we need to be using him more and not shoe horning other players into roles than don't suit them.

Just counting down the days now until JJ and Fofana are back.

Will be the difference between mid table and top six.

Awful first half, better side second half. Draw fair result though we had good chances with Barnes and especially Vardy to win. Disappointed we didn't get three points against a very limited side who tactically were better than us however for the first 45. See it as points dropped definitely.

Too many sloppy performances across the team, Maddison being a very honourable exception. He looked very good. Hope that hip is ok. KDH added some effort and nice touches though he faded.

Defensively we still look a shambles at times. Both goals were preventable.

Could have won, could have lost.

That first half though was woeful. It was bad enough to really make me worry about the rest of the season as it’s the same errors and weaknesses that aren’t being addressed.

We need a good win with a clean sheet so badly.

Another mixed bag again.

Some positives and the usual negatives that keep happening over and over again.

Luckily we do seem to have our shooting boots on, to get us out the s*** again.

Were making the same mistakes at crosses/set pieces and corners and being punished, would have thought once Evans came back things would settle and be more stable.....but it certainly isn’t the case so far.

Again Soumare a lost sheep, and Ndidi isn’t any good in a 2 man midfield.

He should sit in front of the back 4 win the ball back and a 5 yard pass to someone better on the ball.

Wether Rodgers is trying to make him into something he isn’t...I’m unsure.

But playing where he is, he is getting caught out of position so often and is giving away silly fouls to compensate his poor position in the first place.

For all that he is great at, he looks lost at times also at the minute.

It’s no wonder our midfield is so easy to walk thought and the defence come under undue pressure that Schmeichel is having to make so many saves this season already.

On a positive our Subs made an impact today, Maddison looks like he is starting to produce again and influence parts of the match (more second half) and Vardy and Barnes had great chances to win it.

Overall a good point away with having to come from behind twice, but another slow start and having to chase our tails.

He is better with YT in there because youri takes the pressure off him by generally being available for a pass between the lines

wilf can be ok but he needs space and without youri he rarely gets it

Southampton are a high pressing side and hence it’s no surprise wilf struggled this evening

Somehow even with our ropey form and performances we are still 8th and only 2 points off 6th (9 above the relegation zone for those that were worried about a relegation battle a couple of weeks ago)

Other than the top 3 who are just going to run away from the rest it is pretty crazy how tight the rest of the league is
