It’s getting so frustrating that Rodgers is a top quality coach, but why is his side playing appalling football most of the time he swaps the starting 11 so much we surely can’t get momentum going in the side, as for defensive training WTF are they teaching our defence are they just sitting them down to watch chicken run each week ?

The amount of Brendan out brigade seems to be growing bigger each poor performance we’re treated too so how long does he get given to turn our fortunes and performances around?

I still think he will come good for us he just needs a few more decent players to come in to get us stronger we can’t wait for Fofana and little Wes to come back Ricky P just hasn’t been the same since his ACL injury looks like he came back too early and gets injured again ?

We need to bring in some quality in January to help seal the defensive holes we need also to move on the players that just haven’t got what it takes, or do we just need a bit of old fashioned luck to come our way to get us back into the top 5 places, anyway I’m backing our lads and manager each game they go out and play cheer them on moan when they play awful sure is a rollercoaster of emotions supporting our great club !!

OAUIBWT !

Is he 2 people then?

Maybe they learnt from watching him. But it was pretty noticeable. That said, doesn't help that Lookman continually barges into the back of people.

The man has no skill, no perception, inability to make a successful forward pass, and should not be any part of our team.

I guarantee that is we dropped Kasper for Ward we would see an instant improvement. Kasper is too comfortable in his position and is seemingly undroppable. He’s been incredible for us, but every player comes to the end eventually and Kasper’s time has passed with us, it’s time for him to leave.

Ward would let in half the goals Kasper actually and physically saves for us.

Summer recruitment is looking more rancid by the week.

I disagree to some extent. Daka was superb in the first half, but second half as soon as we flapped we were not getting the ball to him in the right areas of the pitch, he then got moved over to the wing…

He doesn't need to grow a few inches, he's 6'2, plenty for a GK. He doesn't want to come out and deal with set pieces, even though this is integral to being a GK. Thats the bottom line, he'd rather put this pressure on the rest of the team instead.

We’d concede way more goals if he came out for corners and crosses when he knows he’s not going to get them. At least by staying on his line he’s got some sort of a chance  to block a shot. If he goes flapping for a ball he’ll be left in no mans land and we’d definitely concede more .

Daka is fine, decent signing but 1 out of 5?

What about the other 4?

Given that we are so absolutely terrible at defenders corners; why are we so happy to give them away? We give away some of the most avoidable corners of any side I've watched; often when under zero pressure.

Villa were far more streetwise, they knew how we can’t deal with set pieces so every opportunity when they were in our half they created a free kick. The ref fell for this . Ward has to be given his chance Kasper’s positioning is all over the place and now he seem to prefer punching the ball out which normally goes straight to the opposition, before he would catch the ball.

Tallest bloke in the prem is sat on our bench and we keeps conceding headers from corners. 🤯

Completely irrelevant when employing zonal marking. Their aerial threats just avoid the areas our tallest players are in. Corner taker avoids those areas too. Defence ‘ability’ is negated and we see no change.

We tried playing him and he was slower than a beached whale. That being said can't be any worse than Jonny old man Evans who looks injured after every tackle, or carcrash one good season Soyuncu

Rodgers signed him so he’s needs to find a way to play him.

Given that he’s now had a few windows he’s running out of excuses in my book as to why he seems to stick with a style of play that  seems incompatible with the players he has.

How is it incompatible when we spent 99% of the last two seasons in the top 4. That would suggest they're clearly compatible.

More than anything it feels like this unknown problem none of us here really understand the root of. There's defensive issues, but why aren't they even partially being adressed? Is that BR? Is that the players? Do we have sports psychologists? Zonal doesn't work, why aren't the defensive coaches either changing it or fixing it? They're clearly doing something to fix it, but why isn't it working? Has losing out on top 4 got into players heads?

People make more out of it than probably needed and I get why after a loss. In the pre-season once Fofana was out for the season, JJ was injured for most if it and Evans had issues this was on the wall. I didn't expect us to compete to the same standard we had and felt top 6 would be really lucky. But the frustrating part is watching us repeat the same mistakes. I'd take cutting the mistakes for a 0-0 draw at this point. And where's Armarty? Is he injured?

The thing is that it's not really funny at all anymore when SKY commentators are picking up on things our 5 million a year manager seems to be blind to. They were joking that a corner is like a penalty which it was, and joking that Lookman just gives it away every time in the 1st half, yet still wanders out for the 2nd half. It's getting stupid now just how shit we are every week at the same things. And what were those subs??? Brings Vardy on who didn't touch the ball, when Daka was one of our best players, then puts Daka on the wing then takes him off then brings Kel's on just about half an hour too late.

Kasper was dreadful but so were many others.
