Strikers facing us must be loving it at the moment. Worst team for defense in the league, don't care what the stats say, we are school boy. We don't have an option for anyone else at the moment (except maybe swapping Cags for Amartey, but Amartey prefers playing in a 3) we need to buy in Jan desperately.

First half was obviously much to attack minded for the manager so we reverted to type second half, at least it shows they listen to him.....

**** off Rodgers... he will roll out the same drivel in his post match interview. Nothing changes from week to week instead we just get worse at defending. Not only are defending set pieces a huge problem but now we are getting cut wide open in open play. 

 

Attacking we look toothless. Pass pass pass backwards and sideways. No energy in the passes just a slow boring build up which results in us losing the ball. 

 

Getting tired of watching the same every week and Rodgers failing to do anything to change the way we play!

Kasper has become a between the post goalkeeper.

He had had zero domination for any air ball, and corners this season. 

We could have avoided at least half of the goals conceded this season already.

We have nothing to lose by sacking him except for paying him off.

I'd say give Rodgers the Napoli game but really, what's the point? He's done here. We will edge closer to a relegation battle each game because we cannot defend setpieces under him anymore and its not like you can prevent conceding corners. We probably won't go down if we keep him as we've got plenty of goals in the team but we are so atrocious defensively it could get really close. A nice new manager bounce will go further to keeping us up than anything the current management team will come up with.

Villa are crap, I think we bought into this Stevie G narrative to allow his burpfest continue, jeez we look like rabbits in headlights and whilst I don’t think we are relegation fodder just yet we are fvcked if we continue down this path.

All this talk about BR going. We need to get rid of the person who's job it is to sort out the defense in our team. Kolo, needs to go. He's clearly not working out. We can't just rely on out scoring the opposition

Don’t think you can completely pin that on Rodgers. The lack of desire and effort defensive is huge. Their winner was less about a player getting a run on another and more about players show zero aggression.
