LCFC vs Villa (A) Post Match Thread 2 - 1

Recommended Posts

In the second half, there was too much of circling the Villa box with nowhere to go... every time Leicester crossed it in a Villa head was on it. There was never really at moment Leicester looked like equalising. Seemed like game over when Villa took the lead... very poor. One of Kasper's weakest performances.

25 fouls!! We’re too aggressive for me except when we defend set pieces.

Its so easy for teams to bypass our middle and get at our defence but when we get the ball there’s the defence and midfield to get through.

BR’s tactics are not working and the biggest problem for me is we’re too aggressive but not stopping the ball come forward. Players are not physically strong enough.

We are not conceding because teams are bypassing our middle…

More than half of our goals have resulted from set-pieces, while our wide defenders are consistently defending 1 v 2.

We have nothing to lose by sacking him except for paying him off.

We'd be better off with Kaspet as player manager.

Does Rodgets even want to be here?

I bet we are tarting him about as we speak…

Don’t think you can completely pin that on Rodgers. The lack of desire and effort defensive is huge. Their winner was less about a player getting a run on another and more about players show zero aggression.

But it’s a consistent issue, than Brendan has actively tried to defend from time to time, it’s only recently that he has changed his tune. He is the man who makes the decisions, he is the coach, week in week out we are dreadful.

£8m a year to have us playing like this. Embarrassing.

What do you expect. He's only on 10 million a year

A £2million pay rise in just fourteen posts. Certainly an indication that Brendan is good at something.

Of course you can, it’s the same stuff all the time. It’s a different bit of bullshit every week from him about why and absolutely no ownership or responsibility from. Lo and behold his team is full of people not take responsibility or ownership.

That wouldn’t have been on him if it was a one off. It’s not, it’s now also nailed on every game.

Kasper has become a between the post goalkeeper.

He had had zero domination for any air ball, and corners this season.

We could have avoided at least half of the goals conceded this season already.

He's always been that! Never was one for coming out to catch the ball.

14 prem games now without keeping a clean sheet. I'm not sure what the "record" for us is, but we're certainly in dangerous territory now.

First thing the "rescue" managers such as Big Sam do is make it very difficult for the opposition to score against them. That has to be Rodgers' priority now: a clean sheet at all costs and rebuild from there.

Not great second half at all

looked all over the place everytime they went forward. Don’t think it’s as easy as just getting rid of Rodgers but he can’t be far from gone now especially if we don’t get through Europe and get 3 points next week. And if the players have stopped playing for him he is as good as gone anyway. As for Evans he is probably playing with an injury every week but lack of options means he has to play. Midfield may as well not be there most of the time not sure what’s happened to wilf recently.

Sorry I disagree. The players continuing feeling sorry for themselves. That second half they showed no desire, no bollocks and a stinking attitude.

I don’t know why people get stuck in with the pre and post match waffle
