4 2 3 1?

Ewing, Nelson, Stolarczyk and McAteer on the bench from the academy. I don't even remember seeing Ewing on the u23 team list. I bet Stolarczyk is excited to be the third goalkeeper. I'd be on the bench eating revels if I were him.

Saturday league game about 15 years ago- we were 7-0 up in the first half and I was leaning against the Goalpost eating donuts. We lost 10-8 :(

Yeah I suspect this isn't a diamond even though it would read as one.

Kasper

Castagne Evans Soyuncu Bertrand

Tielemans Ndidi KDH

Maddison Vardy Barnes

I think if it was going to be a diamond then we'd play Daka over Barnes.

Alternatively, 442 diamond with Barnes as a striker

or 442 diamond?

Suicidal against a 433, playing a narrow formation against one that creates overloads on both sides so won't happen unless Rodgers himself is ill and it's making him think unclearly.

433 is a good formation, but we've not looked good in it so far except maybe 2nd half vs Brighton. KDH and Maddison in the team and no Soumare could be good though.

But if Napoli play anything like they did in the 1st leg we will get smashed. I maintain they have been the best team we played this season. Chelsea dominated us, but we were poor. Against Napoli we played well at times, scored twice and were two up and yet you couldn't argue with a draw given their performance. Obviously I hope I am totally wrong, and that injuries and loss of form are hitting them at the wrong time, and that they'd rather focus on Serie A. But these guys are a really good team.
