PSV have a very good set of dynamic wingers and forwards in Gakpo, Doan, Madueke and Bruma. Then they've got Zahavi, Gotze and Vinicus up top.

 

We are better than them though on our day, if we have Vardy and the majority of our defenders available.

Personally, that couldn’t get any harder.

 

First Legs at home, so really up against it in the 2nd legs again.

 

PSV and Roma, both have huge experience in Europe, and both have quality sides.

 

Draw went exactly against what I was hoping for.

 

Fells like a proper European competition now though.

PSV will be a harder tie than Roma imo. If we can get past PSV then we’ll win the thing.

Anyone who 'gets' football knows it is an absolute privilege to play these sort of teams in European competition 

 

And few the very last few of us who don't fancy the conference league, that quarter final line up is as strong as any of the old cup winners' Cup quarter finals used to be.

True, but it is not a strong league, Ajax did the double over PSV including a 5-0 hammering and have a +66 goal diff. PSV are better than the other 16 teams in their league but a long way behind Ajax, who lost to Benfica in the CL.

I keep forgetting it's the first year of the Conference League. Whoever wins will be the inaugural winners of a new competition.

Third tier competition or not, if we win this there will be no doubting the achievement. Especially if its PSV > Roma > Marseille

 

Navigating away legs 2nd in every round too, shouldn't go unnoticed.
