Atmosphere at the KP

Unsurprisingly, the atmosphere was awful today for pretty much the whole game, leading up to it and afterwards.

 

the music was turned on sharpish post match to drown out the gentle ‘ Brendan  out ‘ chant

I was pretty uninspired first half. Got more interesting towards the end, but atmosphere as a whole was understandably poor. He’s got to go, he’s like a cancer on the club at the minute.

Was next to SK1 for the game. First time being that close and hats off to UFS for it. It was my girlfriend's first city game - she's from Manchester and she said the singing was great. Good work lads.

Was behind some old girl when going into the stadium. The steward took her bottle of orange Fanta off her. Safety first.

The apathy in SK4 was palpable before and throughout the game, apart from the odd moments of excitement in the second half. I think most fans are simply accepting our fate. Genuinely can't understand why people aren't more angry about the situation. To fall so far so quickly would have virtually every other fanbase frothing at the mouth. All we can manage is a barely audible chant about Rodgers at the end of the game. We're sleepwalking our way to the Championship.

I think I only heard them twice today

 

Once when they sang is this a library which they only did for about 10 seconds, and then once when they sang about Mrs Vardy

More anger in the stands when we were bottom under Pearson as a newly promoted side that gave everything,than with a side that’s been comfortably top half for 5 years.

Look at Everton last season. Their fans went nuclear at their situation. They wouldn't accept it.
