Rodgers suggesting the nervousness of the fans is a problem for the players. 

 

Glad to know we're at fault. I should be far more confident when I see the team going down to a sloppy goal or to see our best player coming off for a lamp post.

Went with a neutral today and he said the exact same as me. Without the union fs lot in the corner the ground would be dead as fvck. Heard SK4 start a few chants which was good but other than that thought it was poor again. Had enough of people saying what’s going on on the pitch isn’t helping but that’s not the point. Should work opposite if the lads are struggling we should be getting them up for it 🤷‍♂️

I thought the booing for the pointless passing was a bit much but completely understood the sentiment.

 

Second half the atmosphere picked up because the team gave the crowd something to get behind.

Nobody joins in with even the simplest songs like those mentioned, so as ever, the "mumbling" or "shit song" stuff is an excuse from the usual suspects who just can't be arsed to join in. Nearly everyone in SK1 knows "Leicester boys are we...", they choose not to sing it, instead they may half heartedly whack a bit of cardboard against their hand to it.

 

Vichai had a dream was amazing, once a bit of confidence restored to fans and players alike, but it's also the only song that's had the benefit of being broadcast on local radio every week.

 

Credit to the little kid in front of me, who, in stark contrast to the miserable sods either side of him (apologies if present, I'm sure you're lovely once I get to know you), absolutely wanted to join in, but clearly felt silly when the only other person in the vicinity trying to link UFS with the rest of the stand is the weird loudmouth directly behind him.

Also the idea of a Walkers/King Power Stadium crowd suddenly getting interested in proudly singing When You're Smiling after 20 years of trying by both supporter groups and the club alike to truly make it our own in the modern era, is laughable.

That Leicester boys are we song is almost as miserable as brendans football.

It’s all relative. I sat in the North Stand in block P yesterday and I couldn’t hear the Kop at all. But I could hear the rows of singing around me.

In the first half we just played it at the back having no our ball - poor movement up front.  Truth is that by playing in their half they would make mistakes (giving us a penalty).  So after halftime we stared to find barnes and let him run at them... at this point the crowd got loud... and a goal came.

See the cautious tippy tappy at the back is not going to rowse the crown is it?

I thought the crowd actually pushed the players on yesterday. 
 

Atmosphere was toxic AF for the first 35 mins or so but good to see the shift to encouragement over booing.

 

One of the best atmospheres in a while at home IMO. Mind you the bar this season has been fairly low

Just trying to imagine the atmosphere for the early kick off against Leeds after we have been dumped out of Europe (again) to a Danish meat factory workers 11, lost against Wolves and Burnley.

KDH got the crowd going and it was good for most of the second half. I have to say it was a bit toxic in the first half not so much boos but sheer frustration.

As bad as the football for the first 35 minutes and then picked up hugely once the players got stuck in to a few tackles and took some risks with the ball. That spurred the crowd on, which in turn gave the players a lift and they started to try and make things happen, particularly Barnes who had Coufal on toast. One feeds off the other. The players need the support but they also need to show some fight and desire to make things happen.

Feel the whole experience of going down there needs a shake up. It is alarming when you read just how many people are saying stuff like 'really don't want to go' etc. Feels a lot like folk are going out of habit rather than actually wanting to go. Think the fact that you are all in or not at all does not help. In that if you give up your season ticket that is pretty much it. You can't ever buy on the gate and then you are pretty much forced into paying for a membership to then have to pay the gross mach day prices. You can't dip in and out now.

 

From outside having the local food stalls and beer outside in a sort of fan village seems a good idea, do hope this happens. 

My lads are too young to go down there but you do get the feeling the karaoke and bouncy castle outside the shop has run its course. Even if they were of age to go I look at what they have got going on currently and think they would most likely swerve it.

 

Inside the compass strangle hold is laughable. We have been left behind big time in terms of what we sell in the ground. Nothing local and sub standard. Pricing is alarming especially so on stuff like bottle of water.

The singing sections have proven on every occasion that they work and are popular. It's not rocket science really. You have a committed group in UFS who want to improve things who want to be given space to grow.

So worried the club are sleepwalking into doing nothing but whacking the great big stand on top and saying good night to L1 and further isolating the singers in SK1, then carrying on as we are.

We also are no wiser as to where the club is at with the safe standing. You have seen fairly recently additional stewards being placed in SK1 and examples of the bad old days with them waiting until half time to lob supporters out. You have to wonder why and where these tactics are coming from. the new head of security maybe?

 

It has come out that Top loves clappers. Because of that the club changed plans where once they were going to have them as a pick up if you want item rather than blanket every seat. They need to go or at least be limited, any song that does get going particularly one where the worlds are not yet known is instantly drowned out but the crap noise.

 

Pre match music is always going to appeal to some and not others but it really is at a new low currently. Greatest Showman esque tunes on full whack is both unpleasant and getting zero atmosphere whipped up. Goal music again is just done so unnecessarily loud. Personally not a fan but I get that it maybe is something that comes with modern football. I just can't fathom why someone has decided to rocket up the volume so much.

It has been said time again but one thing that does not sit right with current ownership is the lack of nod to anything pre them. Would absolutely love statues of players or images of famous moments around the stadium. Give it some life and proper nod to a proud history.

 

With the expansion the time is now. If they don't address it then all their lines on 'oh we care about atmosphere' is pure lip-service.

Said it a million times, depends where you are - can’t here a beep from the union fs / kop if your in L1 and same other way round, never heard a song from sk4 even when I was in the kop. 
 

Even if there are pockets of fans singing the numbers are so small the atmosphere is terrible wherever you are

Might be rubbish, but I wonder if the type of song has any bearing on the pace of play. The fast paced Vichai had a dream coincided with the play speeding up and the players looking confident. We moved on to the turgid KDH song and the play slowed down again. Probably just because we were 2-1 up and decided to just hold on but there may be something in it.

VHAD is not fast paced.
