JJ is back and Fofana will be back by mid feb I reckon. Kelch and Wilf are both back and Vardy not far away. Evans had his injured heel from 3 months previous that is untreatable.. fofana gets injured… we sign Vestergaard… 3CBs going into a season of PL, EL, FA cup and carabao etc.. enough you think ?? Soumare has been poor so far but I think most people expect him to improve and become a good player. Stop just looking for the negative things. Lookman has blown hot and cold… I would sign him though as he it seems we don’t have a clue when it comes to right sided players.. Daka whilst taking his goals well and looking a natural has plenty to improve in open play.. stays central and rarely runs the channels giving us an out ball.. if he does that yesterday when Soyuncu was looking to clear it, we wouldn’t have had to go short…leading to their goal.. Ok, we buy a CB and they turn out to be cack, so what, buy another? Then their cack, (as we do have suspect CB recruitment history of late), so we buy another? Soyuncu too many mistakes in him. castagne always injured… after never being injured for Atalanta. Vestergaard and Bertrand nothing needs to be said. Dahnsouff Posted 24 January 2022 Share Posted 24 January 2022 Not sure, these last 2 season, including this, have been aberrations, compressed, injury strewn, interrupted, for all teams, us as much as anyone with the injuries, and the effect this has had on the transfer market is noticeable, Would like to judge leading into a ‘normal’ season, assuming we get one of course! That's a lot of players to move in and out in 1 summer when we need right winger, Youri replacement and possibly an CAM as well if Perez is moved on (1 year left on his deal.). I'd keep one of Ricardo and Castagne, probably Castagne as Ricardo goes into the last year of his contract. Soyuncu will probably go if he won't sign a new deal and we can get a decent fee for him.
