Praet just isn't good enough for what he wants to be. We'd probably gladly take him back if he accepted being a squad player but he thinks he's above that. I do not believe that is how he feels, it is more a case of his face not fitting and at his age, he needs to be playing regular football. Hamza should be looking to go down that road, it does not help him to be here, should he have the ambition of being the best that he can be. I like Praet but he had an almost impossible situation, where he had Youri in front of him and Wilf patrolling in front of the backline. With Rodgers playing Youri every game (don't forget he needs to play all the time as he loses his talent) where was Praet going to fit, unless we choose to play with 2 #8s, but Rodgers refused to deploy those tactics. Last season the opportunity due to injuries arose, and we had to adopt that formation (4-3-3), but KDH had now taken over his role.

MadsEmil Posted 19 July 2022 Share Posted 19 July 2022 Milan are still 3m off in their valuation, all we can hope for is that he ends up staying in Belgium for another year

Too.much noise furniture not to be valid. But circumstances have meant we had to pull back. The Leeds move was laughed out from the get go

Club Brugge may prefer a sale to Milan, but the player's choice of club to transfer to is where he will end up.

Brugge will prefer a sale to whoever is offering the most, and at this point it isn’t us.. Think it’s pretty clear as he apparently has already agreed terms with Milan, and being who they are he is going to choose to there anyway

Shane Posted 20 July 2022 Share Posted 20 July 2022 Wasn’t Torino’s chairman in London to discuss a move for Praet and Bremer to Chelsea/Spurs, which never materialised? Talks can break down and Fabrizio has got a lot wrong this window. I can see Brugge being quite stubborn and sticking to their asking price which Milan might not agree to. LFox99 Posted 23 July 2022 Share Posted 23 July 2022 On AC Milan's negotiations with CDK. Worth revisiting if he's still at Brugge by mid-August by which time we'll have hopefully sorted our outgoings
