Same, first time I had nothing on 1st go.

I always start with the same word (that has a lot of vowels) 

 

If still struggling further on, I use words that don't contain letters I've already found, but do contain the most common letters left. 

 

A slow process of elimination. 

I start with different words (keeps the fun going) 

 

I actually take time to think instead of being impulsive, especially when it gets to 3rd or 4th go and I have 2 or 3 letters. Process of elimination and probabilities, really!

Risked tbe double letters to finish earlier but if you dont get it right then you've just wasted a letter.

 

Worst on the forum so far by the looks of things too you bastards

5 today.

 

Waiting for a day I can either fluke it in 2 or 3 (or do it on another device first - not that anyone can be doing that: I'm sure the incredible amounts of right letters fluked over the last couple of pages is pure coincidence ;)), but its all about consistency...
