Well I can’t imagine Ayew is seen as a 10 so doubt it is him

 

What number 10s have we actually been linked to recently?

 

Probably be another player completely out of nowhere like most of the others so far

He also played for Palace yesterday which wouldn’t have happened if he was that close to joining

Surely he’s not classing Nelson and Bergwjin as 10’s?

I’ll be honest, I listened to the question and Owynn has lied in that tweet. His question was “you said you wanted a number 10 OR someone who can play in the three behind the striker are we any closer” to which Cooper replied with “I hope we are close, but I also thought that last week but it didn’t happen so who knows” 

 

In a nutshell Cooper didn’t say we are close to signing a number 10 specifically at all.

They have so many options in his position though, however it would be an easy deal for them you'd think.

I think he’s a much better player than many give him credit for.

 

He’s also 6ft 4, so he’d add something we’re lacking within the squad.

 

But - I don’t think we get into the conversation here, even if we were interested, we’d get gazumped.

Fairly certain Man United want a perm deal. 

 

Good idea but he'd deffo have to play more advanced because our depth for central midfielders is ridiculous already.

Correct but he’ll likely want to help his current invested club, I’d imagine he won’t be making it too difficult for Palace, that wouldn’t make sense.

I wanted him as the KDH replacement - but seeing what United are expecting for him (30m+) - he's not worth that.
