Forest away

Recommended Posts

Oh and the we are not relative started as a joke with the trees.

I worked with some of there crew a few years back. It was said to wind us up and it did with some people. So it stuck and the sheep heard it and started using it to.

If we really did not matter to them why would they keep telling us.

They are up for this as much as we are and as much as a sheep game.

I assume our priority system means that there are actually going to be very few young Leicester fans going to this for the first time which is a shame for them. I loved forest away when I was a teenager.

There should be a few, my grandson is maximum priority and has never been before, he`s nervous already :-)

Remember a few years ago when Peterborough were getting ready for a cup upset and we absolutely pasted them at their place with Diabate lol

Was a massive police presence in the town centre after that game, 200/300 of us got kept in an absolute dive of a boozer for ages after the game until they decided they had enough for a police escort.

The Coventry & Peterborough ones are hilarious, as they don't even register as second thoughts for us, which must make it even worse for them.

Mate they’re literally second on ours it’s right there.

You can pretty much ignore that graphic because of that. We aint going to be on Villa’s radar to anything like that level.

Think it’s from a couple of years ago, if it’s from around the time of the semis I could see it.

Nah, they're down the list for me too. I don't have the same feeling as I get when we play Forest or Derby, but they top the list for quite a few lads I know.

It’s pretty obvious, Leicester fans either don’t care about Coventry, or hate them more than anyone else.

Agree on the whole, but it’s certainly our most heated fixture in the prem, consistently seen trouble at both grounds since we’ve been promoted.

Also had a big group singing ‘mind the gap, mind the gap, Leicester City’ across the platform at Witton station after the game this season

One bloke shoulder barged me in to a van when they beat us in the League Cup.

There’s always a needle with them

Reading Twitter I think a lot of our younger supporters are in for a shock if they think they’re going to get a free run of the city too

Which game was it in our Championship days, when it really went off outside after FT?

Absolutely. I don’t think some of our younger fans realise quite how hostile this lot are. I guess playing them in 2012 or whenever they were on their arse and the game had lost its lustre.

I go back to the late 80s and 90s with this red filth. Used to be us who were  shit on the pitch but aggressive off it. They were soaked with success and their fans were full of epderly folk with flasks and tartan rugs over their laps guffawing at how pure their football was. Since the late 90s when they freefell into being total shite, they've become nastier.

You ain't gonna just rock up in Market Square, with the police giving it an 'after you claude' and the locals giving a cheery wave. This lot are nasty. They'll be waiting.

There’s a few in our group who want to get the train, but I think it’s risky in terms of being collared immediately

A bus we sometimes go on is thinking of drinking in Leics before going straight to the ground.

52 blokes getting off in Long Eaton won’t be made very welcome (they also need to notify the police if drinking within 10 miles of the stadium)

We used to drink in the Beeches hotel (the other side of Trent Bridge to the City Ground) in our Championship days, which was fine, but very dull really

Extremely boring. You are being very kind 😆

it was more a retirement home than a football destination 😳
