Not getting this. Arsenal haven't made an offer so terms wouldn't have been discussed. Total belarks this

Oh they definitely will have already discussed some kind of terms with him or his agent at least even though they haven't made an offer

Although "technically" not allowed it probably happens with most deals, clubs go through intermediaries who will sound out with the player/agent what kind of deal they would want

Only when you make it so blatant like Liverpool did with Van Dijk that clubs get in trouble

No deal is done club to club unless the agents have sorted personal terms. (Assuming it’s a deal that the has come from the players side). In most cases, there is no point a buying club sorting out a deal with the selling club unless personal terms have been sorted. Of course it will always say ‘subject to personal terms’ but that’s simply protocol because they can’t publicly admit it’s done.

imagine spending ages sorting out a deal for a player with the selling club and then finding out that you can’t agree terms! That’s essentially why selling clubs don’t object to the ongoing practice.

The whole saga is conclusive proof that none of these pundits and columnists know a damn thing about our (or anyone else's) transfer business. In the past year alone this guy has supposedly been "monitored by" Liverpool, "interesting" Arsenal, "in preliminary talks with reps from" United, even "catching the eye of" Juve and Barca at times. Yet here he is, about to start pre-season with us and not even interesting teams at half the price he was being talked up a year ago. Pages and pages of press & Twitter bullshit.

Youri will sign the extension on offer to him. No point in a Champions League buy out clause as he will be available for around £20 million next summer, but there will be clauses in his contract.

A bid for Charles De Ketelaere will also go in this week, and there will also be clauses in his contract (Leicester not being in Europe the 23/24 season being one).

Ademola Lookman will sign within the next two weeks.

Christian Erikson will not sign, he will be back at Brentford and sign a two year deal with the option to extend for a further year, again, there wil be a European clause in his contract, but he is happy at Brentford and focusing on the World Cup with Denmark.

Ndidi, when back will also sign a contract extension until 2026.

Praet, the club continue to look for best solution, Torino remain favourites to have him back, but Sassuolo and Udinese are also interested.

Both Milan clubs have their eye on Soyuncu, however, there is also interest in Spain. He's expected to depart this summer, as been previously said, Brendan isn't a fan!

On the Levi Cowell situation, Leicester in talks with Chelsea and a bid is imminent, if rebuffed a bid for Nathan Collins is likely.

Perez is being eyed up by Villareal and Valencia, surprisingly, Southampton too.

George Hurst, whilst being looked at in Pre-season, will go out again on loan.

Sammy Braybrooke and Will Alves will also be looked at again, during pre-season, but it is Braybrooke that the club will look to loan out next season for experience to join the first team 23/24 season.  Alves will be loaned out next season.

Noni Madueke wants to come back to England, he is aware of Leicester interest, expect him in, mid July!

How do you know any of this?

Was gonna say fair enough until the last Madueke bit. Also, no way is Youri available for 20m next summer if he extends with us, given it's clear that IF he extends we won't want it to be just the 1 year.

We're not signing both of CDK and Madueke

Thanks for sounding like you are all over things, but in essence it's just a list of stuff that you've read in various newspapers and websites and then guessing the outcomes. The best one is saints interested in Perez, cos he always scores against them? That was a good one, well done.

Not really . Every name is already “out there” and we’ll never be told the the particulars of a player’s contract so can never be proved either way

A new name , someone not previously mentioned ,now that would be impressive  if it lands
