There is very little chance we could find a quality replacement at this stage, so allowing him to leave would basically amount to deliberately weakening the squad when we're already struggling. More professional, more respectful and by all accounts a good family man. Assuming he stays (he might not) I will cheer his name and hope he can knuckle down for a solid season for us. In fact he'll be playing for a new club/contract so he'll be trying his utmost for sure.
