It's better that he's gone. Yes he's cost us a few million but that's part of the risk when signing young players.

I'm more worried that nobody wants to sign any of our fringe players .

His career never got off the ground here. I was hopeful after his stint at Celtic but it wasn't to be. Good luck Filip!

Nothing against the guy and I'm sure he's had a difficult time here but this has to go down as the worst transfer for the club. At least Slimani played some games and dcired couple of winners. Adrien Silva also played some games.

We made the mistake of not playing him straight after he came from Celtic, thinking he's not ready for the EPL. We should of just thrown him in the games. Think it must of effected him from being sensational at Celtic and then being asked to go on loan to Championship sides.

We signed him after being surprised that he was available that summer for a reasonable fee, we'd been tracking him but weren't expecting him to be available and had been working on the Soyuncu deal. It was said it was too good an opportunity to turn down getting Benkovic as well. 

 

Very strange how it went so badly and especially given Rodgers success he had with him in the 1st half of the 2018/19 season at Celtic.

I don’t find it strange that he had a bad injury and he’s struggled to find any form subsequently. That happens in football. He’s been enough clubs on loan to tell you why we haven’t wanted to use him since that injury at Celtic.

There's definitely more to this, It's a strange one but i don't think we will ever know the ins and outs.

Seems the best move for both club and player.
