Didn’t watch the game but read Thomas had the head injury, and KDH had a calf issue.

Actually walked past Luke Thomas outside the ground. On another day I'd have given some words of encouragement and maybe asked for a photo. But was that annoyed with the result I couldn't bring myself to say anything to him

Probably for the best. The lad's not been given the best defence to work with. Easily our worst CB since promotion and two non defenders.

I know we were within a whisker of winning it but we’d have been fortunate to do so on the balance of play. I thought Rodgers got his tactics wrong with 5 at the back. We surrender the initiative with too much negative passing and playing our way into trouble in our own defensive third from promising positions further up the pitch. By doing this we play to our weakness (defending) rather than our strengths (attacking). Some of our interplay in the attacking third is really good but we limit our opportunities from this by being so negative.

Looking forward to the Brighton game which will be tough. They can’s score and we can’t defend. Should be fun !

Tottenham  was better, but after being in front  its really  unlucky to loose in the last 2 minutes

Yep agreed. Result is about right and deserved for the game.

But the manner of the defeat is unforgivable. Throwing away a brilliant snatch and grab in the final 2mins

John Moss’s usual incompetent handling of the game tonight gifted the game to Spuds DAKA being pushed off the ball numerous times along with allowing spuds to foul kick pull back he allowed them to get on with the fouling Souyuncu being wiped out before they equalised yet no card, No cards were also produced to the spuds players jumping into the crowd causing a mini riot pushing over Hoardings stopping the game !

We can’t blame everything on the incompetent biased Cockwomble excuse of a referee we didn’t help ourselves, the defence were similar to rabbits in headlights at times the passing was almost pathetic couldn’t even find a player in blue Youri in the last few minutes decides to play a silly ball through a crowd of spud players handing possession which leads to the equaliser !

Brighton at home Sunday let’s hope we’re given a decent display a point or 3 and a referee that’s not as biased as moss !

Don’t think we’ll finish 5th this season but let’s hope we can build on this finish in top 8-10 add to the playing squad sell off the deadwood and rebuild for next season!

IDK what the players were thinking, when we concede an equaliser we need to play more direct, yet from kick-off we play through the middle where all the players are and we lose position and leads to us conceding the game losing goal. We did it against Leeds and Man U and we scored. Not saying we needed to score but at least keep possession to see out the draw. Beyond disappointed.

Look at the space Justin and Albrighton were in out wide when Youri plays that ridiculous pass....sums it up really....

It’s all more than likely been said in the previous 22 pages, but, defensively we are an obimination, and Cags is right in the middle of it. Vesty rightfully gets bucket loads of stick because he can’t actually move, but Cags has absolutely no leadership, no positioning, no bottle … diving in all over the place, always a yard deeper than the next defender so ALWAYS playing attackers onside. We HAVE to be looking to move him on if we can get a half decent fee. He is an absolute liability along with the tall chap who can’t win winners. Chuckle brother pairing! Thank God big Dan is back for the wkend!!!

Great to see JJ out there, thought he looked solid and had plenty athleticism getting up and down the pitch, something we seem to lack all over at times.

It’s fundamentally a mentality problem, it’s the difference between what we’ve wanted to be these past 3 years and reality.

We just don’t have it in us.

Imagine having Simpson, Huth, Morgan and Fuchs playing tonight. We win 2-0.

It could have been 4 or 5 anyway which is why blaming Moss (although he’s s c unt and should get hit by a meteor) is ultimately fruitless.

Rodgers changed to 3 atb system which we’ve hardly ever been good with, against a team that plays it all the time. We had 3 efforts cleared off the line?

So easy to play though as usual. We’re not finishing in the top half when we concede a minimum of 2 goals a game.

Weak mentality. Terrible decisions.

Vestegaard is the senior player. How about he leads the line?
