So would I. He’s a difficult player to face. Would scare defenders to face a front three if Adama Vardy Barnes

That would be fun to see….for at least 5 minutes.

It could be literally glorious, or it could be torture

So it seems likely that Fofana will go for c£80m

Its also clear that Rodgers will not play Soyuncu and that Soumare has been jettisoned from thinking.

This will mean we have to find at least two starting centre halves before the end of the transfer window while still being short a centre midfielder and a right winger.

So a minimum of 4 in if the likely transfer business happens.

If Tielemans also goes then we will need 5 in.

We will sell Soumaré and replace him with a winger, then probably not do any other business IMO, unless we find buyers for Dan/Perez/Vestergaard/Mendy/Soyuncu/Tielemans. In which case they will be replaced like for like positionally most likely. Don’t think Chelsea will stump up for Fofana.

Not sure how Fofana will perform for the year if he's denied his move. But hope that's the case.

After yesterday's showing, I want them to keep hold of Fofana and tell Chelsea where to go. Players need to remember they were the ones who signed a multi million pound contract, so they can damn well perform and help the club.

Sell Soumare and Youri, then bring in a RW

Quite ludicrous and shambolic

Sounds similar to a rebuild.

We should remind fofana he signed a contract and has to stay. But youri and vestergarde should leave because them staying if unfair on us?

Right? Can’t have it both ways

Not that I disagree in theory, but if I sign a contract with a company and underperform, I'd be managed out.

Same principle applies. Fofana is doing great, the other two not so much. Youri has the ability but his value to us, financially and football-wise, has diminished over the last year.
