I'm not maoning about our league position, but the manager seemingly costing us 3 pts with an uneccessary formation change

Yes but mate this is where we are now, our ambition should be a point against Brighton, Brendan will tell you in 10 minutes when he tells you how pleased he was with our application

Missed the first half but the second half was shit.

Brighton were there for the taking after our first goal I thought. They looked shaky at the back and were making the odd mistake, but we were far too passive and obviously the changes just led to us sitting further and further back. We couldn't string two passes together after about the 55th minute and never really challenged them.

For all their possession, I thought Brighton lacked that bit of quality in the final third to really hurt us, and when they did score it was a great display of poor defending and making it far too easy for them. Maupay had all the time in the world to cross the ball, absolutely no attempt to block made it by the 3 players around him. JJ misjudged the cross as it came over and was a little out of position for what should have been an easy clearance. Instead, Wellbeck is basically just stood 6 yards out with a clear header. So poor.

Really disappointing, and another mental knock.

It’s this kind of bullshit attitude amongst our supporters that’s ****ing embarrassing, since when has a team like Brighton been a nailed o 3 points for anyone?

Have Brighton and hove Albion ever finished above us in any season from our formation and theirs? I’d imagine that you could count on one hand the amount of times they have.

Were not entitled to just turn up and beat these but for a club who has won the Prem and Fa cup in the last 6 years and one that has just shelled out 100m for a training ground and has the 3rd highest paid manager in the league we should be expecting to beat them at home

So many self entitled supporters on this forum think we just win because we are Leicester and they are Brighton....doesn't wash....so many players in their team walk into our starting XI at present.....people really need to get a grip and remember we are in the midst of an injury crisis.....it hasn't gone away and its not going away any time soon.

I think if you actually read the thread and apply some logic. You’ll find people are pissed and rightly with Brendas decision making. They posed no threat at all …. Until Brendan puts her oar in.

Brighton have only lost once away all season. It showed. With this line-up they're better than us except at scoring, thankfully.

Nobody wants to hear this but that's two goals scored by Justin not getting to headers. Lack of sharpness and bite in midfield to the point I was wanting Perez on, at least he can scrap.

Schmeichel saves us a point. He, Amartey and Soyuncu about the only ones to come out with credit.

We need a break and get some energy back.

And no the subs didn't cost us, we scarcely had the ball after 46 minutes. Thank goodness Daka can score.

Schmeichel gets credit despite watching a ball float into his 6 yard box and make no attempt to come for it lol

What are you talking about. We were playing well until we scored and then the manager has us camp out 18 yard line from the 47th minute. It's absolutely garbage management and it's OK to say so.

You ok letting Brighton overtake us then? Wow we really have 'Peaked' as Brenden would put it.

What are "we" going to do about it? They're playing better than us, they're higher in the league and some of us are acknowledging those facts. We could have continued to cause them trouble if Rodgers hadn't dicked about with the team (again).

Yeah exactly... the fault lies with the manager, he needs to go, based on this settling for a point against 'a good team' at home and silly comments in the media. Puel reign ended the same way

Who do you blame for that?

So predictable. Rodgers has watched us defend horribly all season, even more so with 3 at the back and still chose to park the bus at the 50th minute. Not to mention taking off all our attacking players so Brighton could sit in our half for 40 minutes as we had 1 outball.

Hate games where he really shows off his boring negative pant-shitting mentality.

This isn't Brendans first rodeo of dropping points by him trying to change formation for no reason.

He's too defensive minded and considering we've conceded bucket loads this year trying to see the game out was yet again the wrong option.

Brendan never learns. The fact we looked shattered considering we've barely played is also ridiculous.

I thought Brighton were poor and only really looked good when we sacrificed 3/4 of the pitch and just tried to defend which we started to do soon as we scored in 46th minute and at home.

Considering we sat with a reasonably low block it was embarrassing the amount of times they got in behind Thomas.

Brendan yet again did nothing to nullify that threat. He's one of the highest paid managers and although he hasn't had a fully fit squad all season his negative, defensive attitude and the boring football being served up i think his time here is coming to an end.
