He will just be dragged down to our normal levels if he stays and then he won't command 85 million then after a drab season playing with this lot. Get rid. Pay off Rodgers and quickly get someone else in, and pray we can stay out the bottom 3 this season for a rebuild in Jan and next summer. If the right offer comes in and we have the correct oversight to spend the money wisely on 3 quality additions then it's best to cash in now. We all know collectively that we have certain players whose name go on that team sheet despite not putting in a performance for literally months. There's your cohesion killer right there. This is the crux of the problem. If something isn't working, or players aren't performing, then Rodgers does nothing to amend it. That's why it's stale.
