Have I missed something?

Everyone suddenly seems to be in meltdown, is it just The Guardian report about agreeing terms or has something else happened?

Werent The Guardian just repeating SSN bollocks?

How dare you come on here spouting common sense during a meltdown!

That’s the spirit. He’s not really that good anyway 🤣.  Probably fall apart by 23 years old. Best get rid now before he breaks his other leg 😂

In other news, he’s still likely to be one of the worlds top 5 centre backs.

A player potentially being sold for close to  the highest price ever for a CB, when he's not one of the world's top 5 centre backs... sounds like a reasonably sensible piece of business.

If we do sell, we need to target players with only a year left as otherwise we'll be absolutely hammered on transfer prices.

Cherki, Tsygankov, Aouar, Soler, Thuram, Ndicka, Scalvini, Orellano, Mbuku, Smalling, Gnoto, Imeri

Surprised you haven’t listed Caleta-Car & Omeragic.

Fofana’s progressive qualities in terms of passing and ball carrying will need replacing, Caleta-Car & Omeragic tick those boxes more than Ndicka & Smalling.

Sell him but do not budge on pricing. Let Chelsea make the decision, if not he stays and sulks.

He could be making a massive mistake when a ranting, raving, arms waving Mr Tuchel has a go at him from the touch line it’s a completely different approach to the civilised treatment he has received from BR. He could be in for a bit of a shock and his confidence could be shattered very quickly. As we have seen not all of our sales to CFC have worked out.

I think £60 million says you are very good indeed but will he sustain it , I have strong doubts about that. If he gets turned over by Martinelli , it shows you he is no Reuben Dias.

We’ll probably never be in this position again when a player will be worth more in a seasons time when 2/3 big teams will want him. Shut the door now and say no, he’ll get his head down and thank us when he’s winning trophies at Man City in a seasons time.

Seems like Chelsea are bowing down to Leicester’s demands and are willing to pay what the want for Fofana really hoping they held out for £100m plus and put a sell on clause to screw Chelsea out of even more cash bloody from the arse hole of a club !

Sell Fofana as a package with Vesty.  £100m for both or no deal.  A sort of buy-one get one free.

in more controversial news with Ricky P likely forever put, I’d take Chillwell back

I’m sure he’s desperate to come back ……..

Clubs don’t pay world record fees and also agree to sell on clauses ….. it’s sort of one or the other.

You say that, but Mahrez still moans about us not selling him to Arsenal, and how we took away 2 years of his career by not selling him. No thanks at all for us holding out, and then selling him to Man City where he wins something every season.

Mahrez is another whinging selfish footballer and Fofana is becoming the same by deleting his current club from his social media bio and if to be believed by the gutter press whinging and moaning that we won’t sell him to his dream club, hopefully when he sods off to Chelsea he does the same to them when Chelsea win nothing then Real Madrid Barcelona or Man City come knocking on Chelsea’s Door hoping for his dream move to one of those clubs !

Neither came up when I just ran a quick search on contracts expiring in 2023.

Wish he would just go Maguire thought he could cut it at a big club and has been massively found out and won’t be at Man Utd much longer! Will end up at Everton or Southampton lol. Fofana has at lot of potential but he also has an awful lot to learn thing is at Chelsea will he have the time to do that Im not so sure he will

I hope the club have a replacement lined up….and a good one at that. Last thing we need is last minute, shit panic buys again on ridiculous contracts.

This is the same Club that brought in Vesty and Bertrand last summer. The omens for your wish do not look favorable.

The club have recognised the errors of recent windows, and the responsibility is placed in more capable hands again I suspect
