Which is my point. We’ll find the right signings but not with a week to go. We’ve weakened ourselves and it’s not even like we’ve made more profit than we would of done next summer. Very little relative to the market and his improvement under us and easily wastable on 1 or 2 panicked last minute Rodgers signings (a la Bertrand & Vestergaard). Having said that it had to happen as we can't afford another Mahrez situation (where he sulks for a season) going into a potential relegation battle and we could easily have ended up in a perverse situation where we made a loss on a world class young player we had improved when we finally sold him (see Tieleman's) considering the 36M we paid for him.
