Today yes but in general its not dull- people are saying it's been dull under Rodgers. I'm not sure that's fair at all.

Absolutely.  We loved it, and great to dust off the songbook.  You could see how much it meant to Worrall, Yates and Johnson who are all Forest lads.  Today’s team only cost about £5m in transfer fees.  

 

Reminded me of the 4-0 also live on TV exactly 28 years ago today.
 

Thought you looked ominous for the first 20 minutes but once we scored we were immense. I’d heard Tielemans was really good. He wasn’t.  


Would be great to be in the same division for a few years again.

Today is a stain on this football club under Brendan Rodgers.

 

There's been many highs, and an increasing amount of lows and today takes some beating. Its worse than being 1 nil up at Bournemouth where a win likely all but assures CL qualification only to collapse and lose 4-1, or a year on and in similar embarrassing circumstances vs Newcastle but this time 4-2.

 

There's been so many horrible performances and results this season, but today was gutless and gut wrenching for anyone who cares about this club.

 

He's had two weeks to get that healthy blend of allowing his players a few days rest and then to regroup and all buy in to this 2nd half of the season push. He's got several players back, players he's spent press conference after press conference telling us how much we're missing them and it's no surprise how badly we've been doing.

 

We're playing an arch rival in an era where we're having our best ever spell in nearly 140 years of existence and yet we seldom.play our traditional rivals and that's what him and they serve up? Its just disgusting.

 

It was one of the most diabolical displays of football I've ever seen, against a very ordinary side that less than 4 months ago was looking like they'd be heading to the 3rd tier of English football. Momentum is often everything in football, bit just as with Forest at a different level, even if there's talent amongst the squad, when it's gone stale, it's gone stale and many better managers than Chris Hughton and Brendan Rosgers have failed to reignite their teams at their respective levels and I just don't see how he turns this around.

 

I was naively holding on in recent weeks to the notion that we were still scoring goals and therefore that meant these players were still 100% behind him, but no way are they. Ndidi looks like he doesn't want to be here, Tielemans has checked out. Soyuncu checked out 18 months ago. There's so much under performance it's staggering.

 

So it's time to go Brendan. Here's 3 envelopes.

I knew they saw us as rivals but I was genuinely surprised by just how many songs they have for us.

I can just about manage this feeling every 8 years, I’m not sure I want it every year lol

 

Notts Forest played well though, not that you needed to, mind you.

What happens when the one set of fans who actively try to change it get extreme stick/criticism and end up being the only pocket of audible support. 
 

Have an away end with pockets of freebies. 
 

To top it off, fans who go nuts letting off numerous smoke bombs and giving it big un in the concourse but left it there and forgot to bring it from there

 Add those three to the rest who are either not match fit or out of form and I wonder how anyone could be surprised by today's performance.

Well what can you say after that!? I’m really really struggling to think of a game where we were that pathetic from start to finish. Spineless beyond belief, if anyone was thinking the Randers was a gimme, think again, this group of players hasn’t got a backbone in them.
 

This season is dead in the water, I’d start drafting in some of the youngsters and letting them get game time in the Premier League now. Starting with at CB!

Watching game on motd our defence today was woefully, its an absolute disgrace that we had numbers in the box and still they allow forest to completely dominate and for players to lose those you are marking is unforgivable.

 

I think playing Ward today was a mistake too, having seen how forest had played against Arsenal in the previous round I think we were naive to drop Kasper today.

But BR picked a team with no bollocks, so it's his fault. 

Ref defo had a part to play in this game especially this moment. I didn’t think it was a peno because it was outside the box but certainly looked a foul. Why the fvck world Lookman go down outside the box, he was wrong side of the defender and driving into the box! They went down the other end and scored after this and we never did see a replay. I’ve always thought this gormless tŵat ref was a useless nerd and today proved it. It wasn’t the main reason we lost however.

 

You defend like that against any team you’re gonna concede more than you score, made it soo easy for them.

He's the coach that works every day with the players to make sure these things don't happen. He also picks the 11 players from 25 and plays them in the system of his choosing to make sure these things don't happen.

Maybe it's been said already but, BR isn't the only one who coaches and manages the team. There's a team of supposedly experienced, specialist coaches that are also involved in how we play. What the F are they doing? Toure for one.
