Liverpool 2-0 Leicester - Post Match Thread

Recommended Posts

Only positive we didn’t concede at least 5, effort was good but everything else was poor, make no mistake Liverpool barely broke sweat and still should have hammered us, we huffed and puffed just to keep it respectable. We are back to where we were in those last days under Puel, star players dropped and only ambition to keep the score line acceptable.

1 draw from our last 4 games and 10 goals conceded.

Going to be completely against the grain and say that was decent.

Those tactics are similar to what we beat them with in December and it’s the type of tactics what’s seen the likes of Palace win there before. The problem is you pretty much have to be perfect for it come off.

The players who started indefinitely playing for the manager.

We’d have beaten most PL teams with the same desire and application.

Nah - you won’t convince many with that ……… pragmatism at places like liverpool apparently has no place - we should have just started six up top and gone for it ……

It’s almost a nul  and void thread.

people who watched the game:

Showed no interest in going forward. Can’t defend set pieces. A lot of players look really washed.

Brendan fanboys:

’lots of teams lose at Liverpool. We won the FA cup, what else do you want?’

Don’t forget “an improvement on Sunday”.

Yeah, it isn’t.

Amazing to think we turn up to a football match to just not get thrashed. We're quickly turning in to a bottom half of the table club. The past couple of years we were taking the games to teams, now were settling just for a better performance than at forest and not get thrashed.

BT constantly talking about Vardy and Evans being injured and being a huge loss. If course they are as is Fofana who I didn't hear mentioned once. Remember when Liverpool were wank when they had their 2 first choice centre backs injured. Well guess what BT that's where we are.

Aside from that, more fight than Sunday but little quality and yet another shite goal conceded from a corner.

Today we played for a draw and gone home with 0, that is the issue we should have gone in to this game fighting for a win not a draw! He(BR) needs to hand his uniform back in, take the blame and walk away and stop this nonsense about needing to rebuild a team, he has had more then enough time. He stays "builds a new team" and his next excuse would be they need time! Just saying

It's just feels like time is up, there's no spark left.

Brendan can chirp all he likes about having a refresh, but there's Managers in the league, apparently worse than him, that can light a fire in a player and get a tune out of them.

Stunk of acceptance of 2nd best there. Did forest just accept they were 2nd best on Sunday?
