Leicester v West Ham(Sunday 4.30)

Recommended Posts

Well when we lose this, the crowd will turn and the toxic atmosphere will be the first murmorings that publicly show some of our fans frustration...

The media will call Leicester fans out as not realising what an amazing manager we have... Yet they haven't had to endure the under performances and inept tactical and player mismanagement.

We have an excellent first team coach for a manager, nothing more.

This is the game where Rodgers will start to feel the heat I think.

Nobody expected anything tonight, merely sitting in out box and keeping the score as low as possible felt like an achievement.

When West Ham let us have the ball, that's when the atmosphere will get toxic if we look blunt and continue to have a sieve like defence. Fully expecting West Ham to beat us comfortably as they have done with ease recently.

....if it wasn't for bad luck and some poor finishing it could have been a cricket score the last time!!!

West Ham are a team that if they get 3, then they will go for 4, then 5 and will not seek to take their foot off the gas.

maybe Madders/Lookman starting wide. Feel we still need to protect the CBs more and Soumare needs to play in a three.

....Soumare in a three, should be a mantra for Rodgers, it is just unbelievable that he has a player that is made for a midfield three, but uses him in a double pivot!!!

It has nothing to do with lack of options, he is just tactically bereft. If you come up against Liverpool who plays with three in midfield and we choose to go with 2, it just goes to show he has little idea what he is doing, as it appears we wanted to keep the score down, but play a formation that left us open to be taken apart (had Liverpool not played the game in third gear).
