What’s the story behind Maddison on the bench. Unless he’s carrying an injury it makes no sense to me leaving arguably our best most creative player on the bench.

Cos we have changed to a 443

Can't get excited about football right now!

Seems totally irrelevant.😢

When was the last time you actually got excited by our team regardless of world events.

We will be no better off than 0-0 at half time.  That starting lineup does not scream attacking or creative intent.  Madness to leave out Madders.

Yep.

If there’s one fixture in the PL calendar that screams ‘play a 10’ it’s Burnley and there rigid 4-4-2

The line-up today makes sense.   Ndidi and KDH have to play.   A decision had to be made between Tielemans and Maddison.

If anything is going to work without Fofana and Evans, it is this.  Unfortunately, the If is bigger than Burnley's new striker.

He’s shit the bed. Gone super cautious because he fears losing. We are playing defensive options over more attacking alternatives because he’s concerned about the lowest scorers in the PL’s attacking threat

Exactly this.  The best form of defense against this lot is to attack them and keep the ball in the opposition half.  All our system does here is keep the ball primarily in our third of the pitch.

Why does Rodgers persist in talking a good game but then set us up to achieve EXACTLY the opposite?

He'll gladly take a point tonight.

This week will see us comfortable or in real trouble.
