Burnley 0-2 LCFC - Post Match Thread

Recommended Posts

That’s a good result even when we are playing well at the top of the league so even better when our confidence is shot. They are a difficult side to play against. Was very worried when Albrighton went to fullback due to his tendency to jump in but he did ok. Was also worried when he took Tielemans out of the middle (even tho he wasn’t great) as Maddison was playing so much more advanced and it left Ndidi more exposed and he’d been panicking all night. Fair play to BR, it was a risky move but gave us more chance of scoring and it worked. Fabulous goal from Madders. Vardy fkin amazing. Watching him move off the ball compared to Daka is like night and day,

Yeah special mention to Amartey, he was imperious tonight.

Edit- and Cags, infact the whole team played really well, but I think the two CBs, for the pressure and critique they've had the past few weeks, were particularly outstanding.

Great performance from the lads Amartey & Cags excellent in defence need to cut out these awful Hollywood passing giving the ball away, Madders continuing his fine goal scoring form scoring beauties then the Legend Jamie Vardy nodding in the 2nd great to have him back hoping now we can take this win turn it in to more wins another Saturday would be superb !

Think we’ll be fine now the goat 🐐 is back !!
