We had to soak up a lot of pressure and the new manager bounce saw Leeds much more organised already.

Agree with this - and there was certainly the absence of the yawning spaces that Spurs were able to exploit last week.

Fancy wearing jeans on your PL management debut. Scruffy cvnt

I just want to post sincere thanks for the sartorial judgments from the fans whose club who gave football its greatest touchline Fashion Icons.

And the country that gave us Tony Pulis

Hard won routine win. Seen loads of those over the years.

They huffed and puffed, had a good 20 mins, but Leeds ultimately not good enough. Once we scored, their attacking threat more or less vanished.

Thought the City put in a good shift in difficult conditions, not firing on all cylinders, but we take the three points and move on.

We defended 10 corners without conceding!

....perhaps the change in defending, leaving zonal marketing and going man-to-man has now allowed Kasper to come for the ball now!!!

The rigid zonal meant that if he came, he would disrupt the set up, but going man-to-man allows him to go anywhere he wants. This is pretty much going back to his old style of keeping, and his early distribution is a great way to attack.

There are only 2 viable options for managers imho. Suit or tracksuit. Looking like a scruffy weekend Dad who is about to take his kids out to McDonald's is a no-no.

Strange game but quality in the opposition box told in the end. Thought we started well without testing Meslier much, then Leeds had more control second part of the first half. Second half we started poorly, and Schmeichel kept us in it. Crying out for Lookman to replace Choudhury at half time, and it made the difference. Well

worked and executed goal. After that Leeds didn’t offer anything of any concern and we saw it out comfortably. Kiernan was everywhere today, and Amartey and Söyüncü did well together. Not vintage by any means, but two clean sheets in a week. Green shoots of recovery, dare I say reasons to be optimistic 🦊

Strange how people see games so differently.

Six of us sit together and we all thought Albrighton was terrible in the first half.

Improved in the second but still wasn’t ‘outstanding’.

Looked like his legs had gone completely second half. Should not be starting for us out wide. Especially at home to a poor Leeds side.

That reminded me a lot of the Wolves game on the opening day

Slightly better than that I thought. More fluent.

2 wins and clean sheets couldn’t really ask for much note given the importance of not dropping points to either of these, nice to be looking up the table rather than nervously looking over our shoulders. Good week of results and hopefully the boost we need before  the Europa Conference tie vs Rennes.

Onwards and upwards, happy weekend Foxes 🦊

Schmeichel’s saves kept us in it but the three Leicestershire lads down the left were all equally influential in a really hard fought (and,  lets’s face it, undeserved) win. All our best attacks came down that side.

Dewsbury Hall in particular is getting better by the game. He was magnificent today - gutsy, strong, clever, skilful. The Works.

The less said the better, however, about the two experienced midfielders beside him. While the team and the fans have had a great week, Ndidi and Tielemans certainly haven’t. They both need to up their game big time or risk being dropped.
