It’s not even a bad kit. That badge is just a disgrace.

Agreed 100%. If they were going to change it they should have gone all in to make it look deliberate

now it just looks like it originally come in the right colour, and got pissed on and the stain didn't come out in the wash.

As I've mentioned before football shirts with collars are uncomfortable and they get in the way just don't see the point, only thing that can save the kit as a whole is blue shorts now. If we've got white shorts then it'll up there with the flappy collar from around 2001 as our worst ever kit

Funny how we all see the same things differently. I loathe blue shorts. Even going back when they were first introduced under Ian ormondroyd. It's simply not our colours and looks dull, unlike a clean fresh white

This ^^

@Mark is a blue shorts disciple though. For me it's not our colours but fair enough, each to their own.

We've been having all blue kits regularly since the early 90s and are far more successful in it but I honestly think it looks better too, also sets us apart from other teams like Birmingham and Ipswich, there’s no other team I can think of that play in all blue so why not make the most of that especially given the success we've had.

Can see your point of view, honestly can, it makes a lot of sense on paper. but for me it just looks dull more like a uniform than a kit. Never been a fan of shorts colour matching shirt colour on football kits.

And more importantly it just isn't what I associate with a Leicester kit, I don't associate the look of all blue with us, which is pretty important - your own emotional connection- but that probably differs from fan to fan.

The drag coefficient of that collar is going to slow our players down no end.

This is honestly something that intrigues me. If I’m a professional footballer - I really wouldn’t want to play in a shirt with extra unnecessary fabric around my neck. Like - it MAY not matter - but it’s certainly not more comfortable than without. That to me is enough to never have a collar. I’d think they’ve thought about this and maybe even had input from players, but  that’s probably being optimistic.

seriously tho - why would any player want to play in a shirt with a collar?

also - the badge is awful. The gold is awful in general. Accent color should be yellow like in the badge. I suppose that ship has sailed with the Thai connection but it’s still annoying.

When the email popped up at work my initial reaction was I quite liked it.

I'm not so sure now, I actually like an adidas shirt with a collar but it just doesn't seem right, i'm getting some Birmingham/Everton 70's Umbro vibes from it.

I’m currently wearing Italy’s 20/21 Green away shirt and you have no idea there is a collar on it. Genuinely one of the best shirts made in recent years, it literally makes **** all difference to the players.

I've only played at 5/6 a side level but even when I first started out I had an England shirt with a collar and hated it, it caught my neck reguarly and was never comfortable. I used to keep stretching the neck area to try and give it more freedom, needless to say I've never played or bought a shirt with a collar since.

If you want to go further, look at seasons 14/15 and 16/17 where we last played with a collar - both almost ended in relegation.

Collar is worse thing about it.

Don't mind the badge and manufacturer colour.

Funny how the transition to a dominant gold has never ever occurred, despite the sheer fear some have that it'll be the case. I can tolerate that amount of 'gold' on the shirt.
