It takes a bit of time to assess our kits that have more out of the box designs and wacky colours. You need to see them in the flesh and even let them marinate for a while. I really liked the grey and orange kit of about four years ago. Right up there with the ind coupe green and yellow pinstripe and the recent pink one. 
 

Nothing will beat the admiral chevron shouldered design of the mid 70s era though when Frankie Wortho  and Keith Weller ruled Filbert Street.

I played against them in one of the first games they used that kit, it was genuinely horrendous lol

The away kits are always our saving grace. Anything, anything other than ultra dullard all blue. All blue is the most vanilla of vanilla. In fact, vanilla would be a huge improvement. 

Kit pictured above you literally has vanilla ice cream swirls init

Bedale is just down the road from me, gotta love their Heck kit history.
