Still fuming about that penalty decision. That doesn't get given at the other end, it doesn't even get looked at.

You can't say conclusively that it hits Soy's hand and VAR couldn't after 2 and half minutes of replays. Even if he did it's off a flicked header from Lacazette.

I'm ****ing sick of it. This is why I go and watch non-league.

what? Are you being serious? It very clearly hits his hand. He reaches out for the ball and you see the ball bounce off his hand?

and the 1st sentence is just sours grapes with no evidence to back it up. cags is a melt who reached for the ball and gave a penalty away. It’s our own fault. End of.

Rodgers clearly wasn't arsed about this game with his selection.

We have killed our own season in the league due to corner defending, it's that simple. I can't ever see it improving until we get new personnel on the pitch, it's ingrained in our DNA almost.

Just want this season over asap

Its all on the Conference league

It may have been a handball, but the rules of VAR is its not to correct every error, but only the obvious ones.  If you need to watch replays for over 2 minutes, its not obvious.

Tbh we don’t know what the VAR official is thinking. He might have decided early regards the penalty but was considering the red card

Complete non event, we showed up for 20

minutes at the end of the 1st half other than that it was dross and damage limitation with eyes on Thursday. Feel for the fans who have shelled out hard earned cash to watch that performance. Will no doubt be forgotten if we get a positive result against Rennes but lose and we go out and things could turn ugly.

That penalty buried us. Would love to see VAR try so hard to get a decision awarded in our favour. PGMOL are so bias. Take a look at Newcastle game earlier. They have a clear penalty appeal but VAR didn’t even spend more than a few seconds looking at it.

Shit performance, shit game.

Summed the season up.

Could have tried something different too rather than the same subs all the time, and persisting with 1 up front, pointless.

Spot on, Brendan mentality is focused on Thursday's game, that mentality rubbed off on the players.....if we're going to lose this match he could of experimented on something different, to see if it works for the future.

Both Iheanacho and Daka can't play on their own upfront together and Vardy's not going to last forever

C'mon now. It was a handball. There was atleast 2 angles that showed the ball slow down as it hit.

I actually think we were lucky that he didn't get a red. It was obviously deliberate and it could be argued denied a goal....

It was obviously a crap attempt at a header with his arms in a stupid position which probably counts as deliberate.

What doesn't count as deliberate is xhaka catching the ball

True, but then if it was given, the same argument would apply, why spend over two minutes on it, VAR needs a time cap, if the decision cant be made within time cap, then go with the ref.

It was obvious.

It was clearly what VAR is for. Ref didn’t see in real time.

It was fortunate how it occurred as Cags is the process of scramble defending (the replay makes it look more than that).

Richards has just explained it superbly

If took 3 minutes to decide.

That's not obvious.

Imagine being so inept at reading communication that you come up with that!

You said we weren't dull or easy to play against. I'd like you to explain what we did in that game that impressed you and what our clear cut chances created were going forward...its not difficult.

we were undone ourselves- cags reaching for the ball to give  away a penalty, Thomas completely ignoring his  marker to give away a free header and Brendan with a master stroke of 2 defensive subs when we went 2-0.
