Rennes (A) Pre Match, Thursday 17 March, 5:45 pm

The atmosphere in your stadium was very good but i think (especially if it goes for us) that it will have nothing to do with what will happen tomorrow. Terrier and Laborde will try to put the fire even though i know that Barnes in you is a superb player.

Didn’t notice soumare either? Is evans in the Europa squad?

If we've 3 players not trained/travelled why wouldn't Rodgers have said in the presser this morning?

Yeah Evans is in the European squad.

Yeah Evans is in the European squad.

Sure I saw Rogers quote saying some back in the squad alluding to more than fofana? Could see evans on bench too?

Castagne and Evans being back would be surprising, they've only rejoined training in the last couple of days.

Faced with the "propensity to drink heavily" of English supporters, in the words of the prefecture of Ille-et-Vilaine, the authorities have taken measures to regulate the arrival of Leicester fans.  The English club faces Stade Rennais, Thursday March 17 (6:45 p.m.), in the European Cup, in a Roazhon park which should be full.

New risky match at Roazhon park?  The prefecture is in any case on its guard, while more than a thousand English supporters are expected in Rennes, Thursday March 17, 2022, for the match of Stade Rennais against Leicester, in the Europa League Conference (6:45 p.m.).

Read also: SURVEY.  Do you believe in Stade Rennais qualifying against Leicester?

A match classified as level 2 by the National Division for the Fight against Hooliganism (DNLH), namely: "degraded context likely to generate deviant behavior on the part of supporters".

English supporters travel to Rennes individually, “without group transport by public transport”.  Unlike Brest or Angers, whose supporters had been banned from traveling for the former, and strictly supervised for the latter, this time there is no dispute between the supporters of Leicester and those of Stade Rennais.

 "Propensity to drink heavily"

However, "the movement of around 1,400 English supporters and their propensity to drink heavily before matches induce this classification of vigilance because of the risk of deviant behavior", indicates the Prefecture, which recalls the "highly festive" reputation of the  supporters of Leicester City FC and noted that "the match will take place on this festive Saint Patrick's Day, traditionally celebrated with the consumption of beer.  »

Faced with this risk, the prefecture of Ille-et-Vilaine has imposed on the English a fixed point, on the François-Mitterrand mail, to exchange their reservation tickets for tickets.  Supervised under good police escort, they will then have the obligation to join the Roazhon park by an imposed route: rue Louis-Guilloux, rue de Lorient, rue Moulin-du-Comte.  The possession, transport and use of rockets and fireworks of any kind is also prohibited around and within the stadium.

In November, in the group stage of the Europa League Conference, the reception of Vitesse Arnhem had given rise to some overflows in the visitors' stand, with around twenty seats torn off and scuffles with the CRS.  630 Dutch supporters then made the trip to Rennes.

 Restricted traffic

In total, the Roazhon park should be full this Thursday, with 28,000 spectators expected in the stadium.

I have a real nasty feeling tomorrow. I think we’ll get knocked out. Our defensive frailties, lone striker and Rodgers’ default caution, defensive approach and lack of trust in certain players will play out under the pressure of Rennes crowd.
